WWE 2K24 has released its final DLC Pack, and so fans of the wrestling game franchise may be wondering when exactly WWE 2K25 will be revealed. A new main series WWE video game has been released nearly every single year for decades, with a two-year hiatus caused by the disastrous launch of WWE 2K20.

WWE 2K20 caused such severe backlash that 2K put the series on the shelf for two years and was reportedly even at risk of losing the license to a competitor like EA. 2K and Visual Concepts came out swinging with WWE 2K22, and since then, the series has returned to its annual release schedule. Unless plans change at the last minute, it's highly likely that WWE 2K25 will follow suit.

2K has already confirmed that a new WWE 2K game is in development, so it's just a matter of time before it gets announced. Based on how 2K has handled WWE video game announcements in recent years, we can pinpoint a probable reveal window. Since WWE 2K22, all WWE 2K games have been revealed at the end of January, right around Royal Rumble time, and there's no reason to assume that this year will be different. That being said, it might be closer to February than normal when it comes to the WWE 2K25 reveal, as Royal Rumble 2025 is actually taking place on February 1.

When Will WWE 2K25 Be Revealed?

Whenever WWE 2K25 is revealed, fans can expect to get their first look at gameplay as well as the game's cover stars. It's also possible that the annual WWE 2K Showcase mode will be detailed. Then, in the lead-up to the game's probable March 2025 release date, fans will learn about other new features in the works for the game, as well as changes made to existing game modes and what the full roster looks like.

Personally, I am hoping WWE 2K25 makes some improvements to General Manager mode. General Manager mode is one of my favorites in the WWE video games, and while I appreciate 2K bringing it back, it still has yet to match the glory days of the game mode from the SmackDown vs. Raw 2007 and 2008 era. Here's hoping WWE 2K25 looks to those older games for inspiration when it comes to GM mode, and that improvements are made to all the other game modes in general.
