WWE 2K25's Farewell Tour Edition Pack DLC is now available, along with a special Farewell Tour Edition of the game for those who have yet to pick it up. Celebrating the historic in-ring career of the legendary John Cena, which is coming to an end very soon, the Farewell Tour Edition Pack brings four additional wrestlers to WWE 2K25, including two more versions of Cena himself.
The roster of WWE 2K25 was already the largest of any game in franchise history when it launched in the middle of March. Through the release of multiple DLC packs, more than 20 more wrestlers have already joined that list since the game's release, and unlockables in game modes like The Island and MyFACTION have boosted those numbers even further with features like Persona Cards.

Cena is one of the most decorated professional wrestlers in history. As the wrestling world prepares for the end of his 23-year career in WWE on December 13, the new WWE 2K25 DLC celebrating Cena's retirement is now available, having been first announced earlier in October. This pack brings forth two alternate versions of Cena to the several that are already included in the game. One will be immediately recognizable to modern-day fans, displaying the look and heel personality he sported this past April, when he defeated Cody Rhodes for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 41. Taking a trip back in time, the other version highlights Cena's early in-ring rapping days as the Doctor of Thuganomics, a role he took up after his initial Prototype character failed the get the reaction WWE management had hoped for.
Also included in the pack is Ron Cena, a humorous take by Ron "R-Truth" Killings, who has often cited Cena as his childhood hero despite Cena being five years his junior and Killings having joined WWE close to two years before him. More controversially, the last wrestler included in the pack is Brock Lesnar. Lesnar was previously removed from WWE games, including WWE 2K24 and WWE SuperCar,d following mention of him in a lawsuit filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant, although he is not listed as a defendant in that case.
Fans' reactions to the DLC ahead of its launch have been mixed. Some have been eagerly awaiting Lesnar's return to the game series, with mentions of him seemingly eclipsing the 17-time world champion the DLC was released for. Others have shown disappointment that the release of this new content is not included with the WWE 2K25 Season Pass, continuing a trend that also includes characters like Aleister Black and the Nation of Domination version of The Rock requiring additional purchases.
