The full slate of WWE 2K25 post-launch DLC wrestlers has just been revealed, and it includes a few fan-favorite WWE legends, celebrity guests, and a TNA alumni who is making his WWE 2K debut. WWE 2K25 already has a stacked base roster filled with current WWE superstars, legendary wrestlers from days gone by, and even a few original creations from MyRise that players can unlock for use in the rest of the game. Previous WWE 2K titles would expand their rosters with post-release DLC, and WWE 2K25 promises to be no different.
With so many wrestlers already confirmed for the base WWE 2K25 roster, guessing who will be introduced after the game launches on March 17 is a contest in and of itself. Over the past few weeks, the people behind WWE 2K25 have been leaving clues through cryptic videos that hint at the game’s eventual DLC line-up. Now gamers don’t have to guess anymore, as the WWE 2K25 DLC roster has finally been revealed a little over a week before the base game’s release.
WWE 2K25 Brings Back OP John Cena Variant
While the real John Cena shocks the world with a surprise heel turn, WWE 2K25 brings back an overpowered variant from his more heroic days.
As reported by VGC, WWE 2K25 will release several DLC packs throughout 2025, just like previous entries did. The first is the “New Wave Pack,” which will launch in May and consist of up-and-coming WWE superstars like Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin of The Motor City Machine Guns, Giulia, and Stephanie Vaquer along with a special celebrity guest to be announced later on. Next will come the “Dunk & Destruction Pack” in June, which will mark the WWE 2K debut of legendary TNA wrestler Abyss, the return of the towering Great Khali, and the inclusion of three mystery NBA superstars that will be revealed in the future.
Things will get much grittier with July’s “Fearless Pack,” which features the late ECW superstar New Jack, previous TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace, former AEW luchador and fast-rising WWE star Penta, Bull Nakano, and another celebrity guest that will be announced later. September will harken back to the 90s with the “Attitude Era Superstars Pack,” which includes D’Lo Brown, Billy Gunn and Road Dogg of the New Age Outlaws, Victoria, and Mark Henry.
Finally, WWE 2K25’s November DLC will wind the clock back even further with the “Saturday Night’s Main Event Pack,” which contains classic wrestlers like Jesse “The Body” Ventura in his WWE video game debut, “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff, Tito Santana, Junkyard Dog, and Sid Justice. Some fans had guessed that these wrestlers would be in WWE 2K25’s DLC roster thanks to the past hint videos, but now there is official confirmation that they and many others will added to the game throughout the coming year.
