More versions of CM Punk are coming to the game according to a recent WWE 2K24 discovery. WWE 2K24 saw the return of polarizing Superstar CM Punk to the WWE games after years of absence. While most fans were surprised that Punk made the roster via DLC, a few expected this due to how huge of name Punk is. Not surprisingly, the Straight Edge Superstar has only become hotter since his comeback, and he has become a central figure in a few key storylines on WWE TV.

As part of the first set of DLC included in the Season Pass, CM Punk made his WWE games return via the ECW Punk Pack. That DLC pack contained the likes of ECW legends such as the Dudley Boyz, the Sandman, and Terry Funk. And while most WWE fans remember that the controversial Superstar made his WWE debut on the revived ECW brand back in August 2006, his in-game character model was based on his current appearance. Granted, Punk has had a few gimmicks and looks that are considered iconic by the WWE Universe.

WWE 2K24 releases teaser videos that seem to imply that more characters and other related content may be coming to the game soon.

WWE 2K24 content creator WhatsTheStatus found a new leak that shows a few new CM Punk models that could be coming to MyFaction as Persona cards. The three new models found in the latest patch were CM Punk '10, CM Punk (S.E.S.), and CM Punk (Masked). While most would say that the three gimmicks are closer in timeline, they all offer a unique look at the Straight Edge Superstar that differs from his WWE 2K24 DLC character model. In addition to the model, Punk's former theme "This Fire Burns" by Killswitch Engage has also been added, both as entrance music and as part of the Jukebox.

While CM Punk may be the focus of the new information, several other character models coming to MyFaction were also found by WWE 2K Content Creator WhatsTheStatus. A Booker T '01, King Booker, and a new Rhea Ripley based on Crown Jewel could be arriving along with the new set of CM Punk models. And although many fans continue to criticize the grind that MyFaction requires, earning the Persona cards is a reward that players are happy about.

With several new versions of Bray Wyatt coming to WWE 2K24, this year's version might have the most diverse roster in the WWE games' history. The base roster already has many unique individuals to choose from, and some of these Superstars even have an alternate version or two of their own. This makes WWE 2K24 the WWE game with the biggest roster to date. While gamers hope that 2K will offer the alternate Personas as part of the official roster or as DLC in future titles, having alternate attires and costumes is a wish that many fans have requested since the earlier games.
