Wednesday, September 18 will be a big day for WWE 2K24, as that's when the Global Superstars Pack is released for the popular wrestling game. WWE 2K24 was released earlier this year to mostly positive reviews, with many praising the game as being a step up from 2K23. WWE 2K24 remains popular to this day, with Visual Concepts supporting it through updates and DLC packs.

The first WWE 2K24 DLC pack was released on May 15, adding CM Punk and various ECW legends to the game. It was followed by the Post Malone & Friends pack on June 26, which featured Post Malone and old-school superstars like Honky Tonk Man. The Pat McAfee Show Pack on July 31 added the fan favorite commentator along with various people from his show. The next WWE 2K24 DLC is right around the corner, and it will be adding seven superstars to the game's growing roster.

On September 18, WWE 2K24 will receive the Global Superstars Pack DLC, which mainly focuses on adding modern wrestlers who were missing from the base game roster. Current WWE Women's Champion Nia Jax headlines the new WWE 2K24 DLC, joined by Kairi Sane, Jade Cargill, Lyra Valkyria, Michelle McCool (the one new addition who is not an active wrestler), Dragon Lee, and The Judgment Day's Carlito. WWE 2K24 fans who buy the DLC or own the Season Pass will also be able to get some fresh MyFaction Superstar Cards as part of the Global Superstars Pack DLC.

The next day that WWE 2K24 fans will want to keep an eye on is November 13. On that day, WWE 2K24 will receive its fifth, and potentially final, DLC pack. The WCW Pack includes Diamond Dallas Page, The Iron Sheik, Mr. Perfect, The Great Muta, and Lex Luger, along with the usual Superstar Cards for the MyFaction game mode. The WCW pack is the last DLC that makes up the WWE 2K24 Season Pass, and while there's a chance surprise DLC will be released for the game, the more likely scenario is that the developers will then be turning their full attention to WWE 2K25, likely to drop around WrestleMania season next year.

It's highly likely that WWE 2K25 will continue building on the formula established by WWE 2K22. Wrestling game fans should be able to expect an experience similar to WWE 2K24, but with a refreshed roster and improvements to the various game modes. What all is in store will have to wait, but if WWE 2K25 follows the pattern established by other recent entries in the series, chances are good that a reveal will coincide with the Royal Rumble.
