WWE 2K23: The Best Custom Superstars Based on TV Show Characters

Most of the custom Superstars in WWE 2K23 are based on former wrestlers, which shouldn't come as too much of a surprise really given that this is a wrestling game. However, that's not to say that there aren't still plenty of creators who are thinking outside the box, as evidenced by some of the many great custom Superstars that were inspired by fictional characters.

Some are incredibly realistic and seek to perfectly recreate their respective characters in digital form, while others attempt to maintain their characters' cartoonish qualities with mixed results.

Charlie Kelly (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia)

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is one of the funniest shows on television and a big part of that is down to Charlie Kelly. Now, thanks to creator SuperBob, fans of the show can use the carefree custodian in WWE 2K23, with both Charlie's regular look and his Birds of War outfit included in this fantastic CaW.

There are plenty of great animated shows on television these days, but few are as topical as South Park. Shaggy (Scooby-Doo)

Sooby-Doo's Shaggy became a bit of a meme a few years back, which arguably led to the character's inclusion in the free-to-play fighting game, MultiVersus​​​​​​. It's probably what led to UltimateShowMega creating Shaggy in WWE 2K23 too, though the character is sadly lacking the Super Saiyan transformation that inspired so many of the memes. Even so, it's still a blast to fight with Shaggy, particularly against other fictional characters.

Family Matters was huge back in the nineties, with tens of millions of viewers tuning in each week to catch up with the latest from the Winslow family.
