There have been many iconic factions and tag teams that fans have loved throughout the years. Whether it's legendary team-ups featuring Hulk Hogan and Macho Man Randy Savage as the Mega Powers, Kane and the Undertaker as The Brothers of Destruction, or a modern-day faction like The Bloodline, WWE 2K23 has the tools to make this possible.

These factions can also carry into the WWE 2K23's Universe modes to organically go for titles and do battle against other team-ups. This guide will teach players how to create dream teams and factions strong enough to take down The Bloodline and The Judgement Day.

How to Create Teams in WWE 2K23

Players can create a tag team in WWE 2K23 using any combination of two male or female WWE Superstars. Or they can make a stable that features male and female superstars, like The Judgement Day. To create a tag team or a faction, players should use the following steps:

Press R1/RB to select Options.
In the options menu, select the WWE Roster tab.
Then, choose Edit Teams.
In the Edit Teams screen, press the R3/RS button to Create a team.

Name: players can manually create the name of their chosen tag team.
Team Announce: This is where players can choose from a range of prerecorded team names the ring announcer will use for the tag team's entrance. In the above image, The Mega Powers was selected to recreate the team-up of Macho Man and Hulk Hogan from 1987 to 1989.
Members: Players can add up to five members to create a tag team or a faction.
Crowd Reaction: Players can choose whether or not they want their team to be cheered or booed by fans in all play modes.
Tag Team Finisher: This option will redirect players to the Creations Move-Set menu to create their tag team's WWE 2K23 finishing moves from a selection of premade wrestling attacks.
Tag Entrance Type: Players can choose if their team makes separate entrances or walk to the ring together.
Tag Entrance Setting: If players have selected the together option, they can customize how their team makes their entrance. It will redirect to the Creations: Entrance menu. The team's motion, movie, banners, and entrance music can be changed.
Tag Victory Action: Players can now choose how their team will celebrate in their ring after a victory. Players can use different motions for heel (villain) and face (good guy) celebrations. Moreover, they can choose the celebration music, movies, banners, and more.
Trio Victory Motion: If players have created a faction of three wrestlers or two and a manager, they can choose how the three superstars will celebrate in the ring.
With everything finished, press the Save option.
Now, players can choose to have their team included as part of their WWE Universe modes.
