WWE 2K Battlegrounds  is yet to be released but some wrestling fans are concerned about the quality of the game. While the trailers for WWE 2k Battlegrounds  look to take the fun of wrestling and implement it in a more light-hearted title, there are concerns about the franchise as a whole. The title will be the first game release from the WWE franchise since the disastrous WWE 2K20 and the advertisement for the upcoming title does not suggest that there has been attention to detail.

The last WWE 2K20 was criticized for delivering a game that was filled with glitches and at points, it was said to be unplayable. As a result, many fans are hoping that the more light-hearted WWE 2K Battlegrounds can bring the franchise back to what makes it special, which is seamless wrestling with a large roster of personalities. It is unclear whether the game can deliver this, but a trailer has outlined a spelling error in the game which many online users are already joking about.

Tornado Tag appears to be misspelled in the new trailer for WWE 2K Battlegrounds  and instead it is going by the name "Torndado Tag" and many fans are amazed by the fact that this mistake must have gone through several checks. Some are joking that it is a new game mode type while others are claiming that this mistake is reflective of the effort that currently goes into WWE games at the moment. Hopefully, this is just an accident that won't be indicative of the quality of the game, although fans may want some reassurance after this lack of attention.

With just over a month until the release of WWE 2K Battlegrounds, many hope that the game can begin to showcase its positive aspects rather than making mistakes. The game does have a diverse roster of legends and contemporary wrestlers, a unique art style, and multiple game modes for players who enjoy variation. These features could make the game a hit but in terms of marketing and public relations, this game still has a lot of work to do because of the current state of the franchise.

This seems to be a funny mistake by the team behind the game, but many will hope that the title does begin to win fans over and provide an enjoyable experience that has minimal mistakes. If the title can do this, WWE 2K Battlegrounds may recover from its promotional missteps.

WWE 2K Battlegrounds is available on September 18 for PC, PS4, Stadia, Switch, and Xbox One.
