When building a team for Zhezhi, there are no 5-star Glacio units that can fully maximize their powers and utilities, which is disappointing. Nevertheless, Zhezhi can still become a top-tier unit in Wuthering Waves with the right team composition.

This continuous evolution will definitely affect the meta as new teams will rise while others will fall down the tier list. With Carlotta joining the Wuthering Waves roster, Zhezhi has a new best teammate as the two Glacio units can synergize perfectly to create a dangerous combo together. For that, this list will be updated to include the new best team for Zhezhi in Wuthering Waves.

1 Zhezhi + Jinhsi + Verina

Since Jinhsi heavily relies on her Resonance Skill, Zhezhi’s buff and off-field coordinated DMG is a good fit for her. Together, they can share a healer and crush enemies in any Wuthering Waves mode. As usual, Verina can fill her Concerto energy and buff everyone’s ATK% before switching to Zhezhi. While Jinhsi can’t take advantage of all of the commissioned painter’s buffs, she still can work well with her Outro Skill. Additionally, Zhezhi also grants a portion of Energy to the next character, which is perfect for Jinhsi, considering she also deals a decent DMG with her Resonance Liberation.

2 Zhezhi + Carlotta + Shorekeeper

Carlotta is a Glacio main DPS who gets most of her DMG from her Resonance Skill. This automatically makes Zhezhi one of her best pairs since she buffs Glacio and Resonance Skill DMG with her Outro Skill. Not only that, but Zhezhi also has a fast rotation where she only spends a few seconds on the field to set her Resonance Liberation up alongside her massive buff. After filling Zhezhi’s Concerto Energy, switch to Carlotta and watch her delete enemies alongside Zhezhi’s off-field Coordinated Attacks.

Any team needs a dedicated Support that amplify DMG while providing some sustainability. Therefore, if Zhezhi’s build was on Empyrean Anthem, then she needs Shorekeeper to amplify her Crit Rate, which will help Zhezhi keep her buff active. Shorekeeper also has an amazing healing with other buffs that puts her among the best healers in Wuthering Waves. Alternatively, Verina also works for buff and healing.

3 Zhezhi + Lingyang + Verina

This team revolves around Lingyang as the main DPS, benefiting from significant buffs by Zhezhi and Verina. Zhezhi also coordinates her attacks to complement Lingyang's pace. Initiating the rotation with Verina, it's essential to charge her Concerto energy to unleash her ATK% team buff. This can be achieved through her Resonance Skill, Liberation, or Basic ATK while airborne.

Switch to Zhezhi to easily fill her Concerto Energy with Basic ATKs and multiple Resonance Skills. Ensure to cast her Resonance Liberation before Lingyang takes over the field to capitalize on all his teammates' buffs. Though Lingyang may not be the perfect DPS, as a Glacio character, he can effectively utilize all the buffs provided by Zhezhi.

4 Zhezhi + Sanhua + Baizhi

For a more F2P team, pairing Sanhua with Zhezhi and adding Baizhi can provide the team with sustainability. Baizhi can do a good job replacing Verina in Wuthering Waves. Although Baizhi, being a 4-star unit, may not match Verina's capabilities, she can still offer protection to the team while providing minor buffs.

On the other hand, Sanhua, especially on S2, is a good DPS who can fully take advantage of Zhezhi’s buffs and off-field DPS. Even as a 4-star, Sanhua is considered one of the best Sub-DPS units in Wuthering Waves. Additionally, Sanhua's Outro Skill grants Zhezhi a significant Basic ATK DMG Amplification, which substantially improves Zhezhi's on-field DPS. Both Zhezhi and Sanhua can be a part of a quick swap team where you can quickly fill their Concerto energy and keep them buffed throughout combat.
