Characters in Wuthering Waves possess a wide variety of kits that help them synergize together in time of combat. Some of these kits revolve around dealing the absolute most DMG possible within a short time limit. As for other characters, some can buff, heal, or even control enemies, like Jianxin when she casts her Resonance Liberation.

3 Xiangli Yao + Yinlin + Verina

This team heavily relies on quick swapping and canceling animations between Xiangli Yao and Yinlin in Wuthering Waves. Since both units are Electro DPS characters, Xiangli Yao greatly benefits from Yinlin’s coordinated off-field DMG and her Outro Skill that buffs his Electro DMG alongside his Resonance Liberation DMG. This is crucial for his on-field DPS as Xiangli Yao has one of the hardest-hitting Ultimates in Wuthering Waves.

As for Yinlin, her ease of use helps set the tone for the team to work smoothly while scoring big numbers. Of course, both characters are more than capable of carrying the team’s DPS, so giving the third slot to Verina increases the team’s survivability while buffing both Yinlin and Xiangli Yao.

2 Xiangli Yao + Changli + Jianxin

Changli doesn’t fully buff Xiangli Yao with her Outro Skill in Wuthering Waves. However, both characters greatly rely on Jianxin to buff their Resonance Liberation, which creates a nice synergy among the three units. Both Jianxin and Changli buff Resonance Liberation DMG while Xiangli Yao is more of an on-field DPS who summons thunder strikes upon an enemy when he leaves the field with his Outro Skill activated.

Since Changli doesn’t rely on a single attack from her kit to deal DMG, she can always take the field during Xiangli Yao’s off-time and deal an equal if not more DMG. You can keep switching back and forth between both DPS units until Changli’s Concerto Energy is ready. You can then switch to Jianxin to collect enemies in one area as she fills her Concerto Energy, before leaving the field for Xiangli Yao, who’s going to obliterate enemies with his Resonance Liberation.

1 Xiangli Yao + Yangyang + Baizhi

The past teams were heavy on 5-star units in Wuthering Waves. So, this team is more of an F2P team for Xiangli Yao in Wuthering Waves. Starting from Yangyang, she’s a decent battery who can control enemies and collect them together. She’s also a fast in-and-out character since she can quickly fill her Concerto Energy bar. Xiangli Yao can keep his Ultimate state 100% of the time during combat, so having a character like Yangyang who can constantly refill his Resonance Liberation’s Energy can be super useful for the team.

Additionally, just like Verina in Wuthering Waves, Baizhi can join the team to heal everyone in time of need and ensure everyone stays safe. She also possesses some slight buffs that can be useful if she is included in the team’s rotation.
