Guardian Sword is a great F2P weapon for Cartethyia in Wuthering Waves. While it’s a 3-star weapon, it still grants her enough HP%, which she won’t get from 4-star weapons. If players are looking for an F2P option for Cartethyia, then the 3-star Guardian Sword is the best choice. The extra Skill DMG she gets from the weapon’s passive isn’t amazing, as she doesn’t deal a lot of DMG from her Resonance Skill. Still, the extra HP she gets from Guardian Sword is enough to make it among the best weapons for Cartethyia in Wuthering Waves.

Unflickering Valor grants Cartethyia a lot of Basic ATK DMG, but barely gives her any Crit value. Without bonus HP% and Crit value from the weapon, players will struggle building Cartethyia. She will have to get Crit Rate from her Cost 4 Echo instead of Crit DMG, which greatly reduces her DMG. The extra Basic Attack DMG she gets from Unflickering Valor will not make it up. Despite all that, Unflickering Valor is still a good weapon for Cartethyia in Wuthering Waves.

3 Emerald of Genesis

Emerald of Genesis is the standard 5-star weapon for any Sword character in Wuthering Waves. While Cartethyia doesn’t benefit from the Emerald’s extra ATK% passives, she still gets a decent Crit Rate and Energy Regen stats to help with her build. Any extra Crit Rate from a weapon is great for Cartethyia, since it helps players shift their entire focus to building her Echoes with Crit DMG.

The second part of the weapon's passive is locked behind Camellya’s mechanics in Wuthering Waves, but Cartethyia still gets 24% Crit Rate and up to 30% Basic Attack DMG when using Red Spring, making it one of the best weapons for Cartethyia in Wuthering Waves.

1 Defier's Thorn

Effect	Max HP is increased by 12%. 15s after casting Intro Skill or Basic Attacks, ignores 8% of the target's DEF when dealing damage. If the target has at least 1 stack of Aero Erosion, the target’s DMG taken is amplified by 20%.

Defier's Thorn gives Cartethyia more than 80% extra HP, which is a huge buff to her kit. She heavily relies on HP and can transfer a lot of this extra HP into DPS. As Cartethyia’s signature weapon, Defier's Thorn doesn’t stop at giving her HP; it also allows Cartethyia to ignore 8% of enemies’ DEF and buffs her Aero DMG if enemies have Aero Erosion on them.
