Wuthering Waves has revealed Roccia as the second playable Resonator from Rinascita in Version 2.0. Wuthering Waves players will step into the new nation in early 2025 and Kuro Games has already teased several new characters coming in following updates.

Earlier in November, Wuthering Waves officially revealed Rinascita as the next nation of Solaris-3. The region is set to arrive with Version 2.0, which will launch on January 2, as soon as Wuthering Waves' current 1.4 update wraps up. Although Version 1.4 is still in its first phase, players are already excited to see what Rinascita has in store for them. Now, Kuro Games has confirmed a new playable unit joining the Wuthering Waves roster in the upcoming patch.

Wuthering Waves' 1.4 update appears to be the final patch set within the Huanglong Nation, and this could be for the better or the worse.

Wuthering Waves has introduced Roccia, a five-star Resonator from the nation of Rinascita. Her official description reveals that she is an improvisational comedian and the First Mate of the Fool's Troupe. Roccia is an expert at using stage props and often makes sure the Troupe's ship is always clean and tidy. Wuthering Waves previously announced Carlotta as the first confirmed Rinascita character set to debut in Version 2.0, which would mean Roccia's banner will probably come in the second half of the update.

Wuthering Waves Reveals Roccia for Version 2.0

As stated by Kuro Games, Rinascita's first city, Ragunna, is anticipating a Carnevale event just as Rover first arrives in town. Considering that Roccia's outfit has a festive design filled with carnival elements, she might play a key role in Wuthering Waves' next main quest. It's uncertain what Roccia's weapon will be, but her description addresses a "Peculiar Box" that she carries around. This could suggest that she is a Rectifier user and said box would be part of her combat performance. While Roccia and Carlotta might be the only playable units debuting in Wuthering Waves Version 2.0, Kuro Games has teased more Rinascita characters coming in future updates, including Zani, Brant, and Phoebe.

Wuthering Waves launched on PC and mobile platforms in May 2024, but the game is set to land on PlayStation 5 in early 2025 as well. Thanks to its rising popularity among players, the RPG has also been nominated for Best Mobile Game at The Game Awards. On the other hand, the release of Rinascita in January coincides with the release of Genshin Impact's Mavuika, which could put Wuthering Waves in a tough fight for the spotlight.
