A Wuthering Waves leak has revealed more details about upcoming updates, including a re-run of a popular character, new skins, and other important releases. Like many other gacha-based games, beta phases, leaks, and rumors often reveal a lot of content months before it officially arrives on the live servers.

Playable characters in Wuthering Waves have two levels of rarity: five-star and four-star units. Both groups of characters can be acquired through the game's various banner mechanics. So far, Wuthering Waves has established a pattern of releasing at least two new five-star characters per update. Changli is the most recent addition to the roster, arriving as part of the second banner phase for the ongoing update 1.1.

Even though update 1.1 has yet to officially end, Wuthering Waves' developer, Kuro Games, has already confirmed the arrival of two new five-star units, Zhezhi and Xiangli Yao, for the next update. Zhezhi is expected to arrive in the first part of Wuthering Waves Version 1.2, while Xiangli Yao's release is scheduled for the second banner cycle. A credible leaker named Team Mew has revealed more details about future updates and characters. According to the leak, update 1.3 will feature the game's first re-run for a popular DPS unit, the Aero user Jiyan. Wuthering Waves 1.4 will feature two new skins for popular characters, Jinhsi and Sanhua. The long-awaited Camellya, who already made an in-game appearance will apparently join the roster after update 2.0.

Many fans are surprised that Kuro Games has decided to introduce re-runs so quickly, considering that the game launched only a few months ago. Gacha games usually wait at least six to seven updates before featuring a re-run. Jiyan was the first character featured on Wuthering Waves' limited banner. He is a melee Aero character best suited for the main DPS role.

As for the new skins, the leaker clarified that Sanhua's new outfit will be obtainable for free, likely by completing a few event-exclusive quests. Sanhua is a free four-star character in Wuthering Waves who is a decent choice for the sub-DPS role due to her ability to work off-field. Jinhsi's skin will most likely be available through the in-game shop.

Camellya has been one of the most anticipated characters in the community, especially since leaks revealed most of her upcoming kit. This character, who was also known as Chun during her early development stages, is expected to be a new five-star character in Wuthering Waves with strong offensive potential.
