Wuthering Waves has officially revealed Jinhsi's highly-anticipated alternate outfit for Version 2.0. In recent weeks, Wuthering Waves has been promoting all the exciting content for its next update, which is expected to be the RPG's biggest one yet.

When Wuthering Waves debuted in May, it quickly rose in popularity due to its high-quality graphics and fast-paced gameplay. Many of the game's characters became popular as well. Among the best units in Wuthering Waves is Jinhsi, a 5-star Spectro DPS who plays an important role in the Huanglong chapter. Jinhsi became a fan favorite not only because of her high damage in combat but also because of her design and personality. Now, Kuro Games has confirmed that Jinhsi will be the first 5-star character to get an in-game skin.

Wuthering Waves has revealed the full contents of Jinhsi's skin, as well as other details such as its price and availability. The premium outfit, dubbed "Peach Blossom," will debut in the in-game store as soon as Wuthering Waves Version 2.0 launches on January 2, 2025. Jinhsi's spring-themed premium skin replaces her neutral-toned attire with a pink-palette dress with peach blossom accessories. But her clothing isn't the only thing altered when equipping her skin. According to Kuro Games' official description, Jinhsi's alternate outfit includes a skin for her weapon, a new Sigil, an avatar, and an adapted idle animation. Moreover, her combat skills and companion dragon have new pink colors. During Version 2.0, Jinhsi's skin will cost 2680 Lunites. However, once the 2.1 update goes live, the cost will be 3280 Lunites. It is worth noting that Lunites can only be obtained through in-app purchases, so Jinhsi's skin is not free to get.

While Kuro Games has unveiled Jinhsi's skin, she may not be the only character earning an alternate outfit soon. Earlier in November, Wuthering Waves leaks revealed Sanhua's skin expected for Version 2.0 as well. The leaks reported that Sanhua's skin, unlike Jinhsi's, might be given to players for free considering the character's 4-Star status.

2024 has proven a successful year for Wuthering Waves. The RPG was nominated for Best Mobile Game at The Game Awards 2024, though it lost to Balatro. Regardless, Wuthering Waves is starting 2025 with its biggest patch cycle yet. The game will launch the nation of Rinascita along with new Resonators, Echoes, and quality-of-life features. Wuthering Waves players can get a free 5-star Echo ahead of Version 2.0 through a limited web event.
