Building characters in Wuthering Waves can be quite a chore, since the drop rate of resources is limited. Especially in the case of Echoes, players have to devote a generous amount of time to extracting these creatures, only to farm more materials to level them up. They can be obtained from the Tacet Field, one of the many challenges that appear on the map after making some progress in the game.

Although the Echoes are akin to artifacts from Genshin Impact, they work somewhat differently. You need separate items to level up and tune the substats, respectively. So, expect the Tacet Field to become a frequent activity once the feature is unlocked in Wuthering Waves.

How to Unlock Tacet Field in Wuthering Waves

In Wuthering Waves, Tacet Fields are unlocked after reaching Union Level 19. This isn’t necessarily a difficult milestone, as the game presents a bucketload of quests and explorable activities that yield a fair amount of experience points.

Moreover, increasing the Union Level gets a lot easier once players unlock the dailies. Completing them also rewards Astrite, Shell Credits, and other goodies, so there’s no point in saving them for later.

The Tacet Field, on the other hand, is best engaged at a higher level to ensure better drop rates for Echoes and their development materials. That said, Rovers can find these challenge arenas at different locations on the map, highlighted with a dark marker.

How to Complete Tacet Field in Wuthering Waves

Every Tacet Field in Wuthering Waves can be located via the Guidebook or directly from the map feature. Unfortunately, there isn’t a feature for fast-travel for the challenge, so players have to teleport to the nearest beacon to access them.

At the Tacet Field, interact with the respective marker to spawn enemies. The goal here is to defeat the incoming Tacet Discord waves within a time limit. The next batch of monsters spawns only after defeating the previous group, so it shouldn’t be overwhelming to deal with them as long as a well-built character takes on the battle.

It is important to note that each Tacet Field features different combat modifiers that remain in the Resonator’s favor. Additionally, they can trigger different on-field effects for extra assistance.

After clearing all the enemy waves, a Tacetite appears in the arena, where players obtain some Echoes and their development materials in exhange for 60x Waveplate. Their golden drop rates will activate at Data Bank level 15. This is one of the best ways to snag some good Echoes in Wuthering Waves which otherwise require hours of farming.
