Yinlin, as of the time of writing, is an upcoming 5* Congenital resonator who uses electro powers to kill monsters. The information about Yinlin’s kit comes from the CBT and players still have to figure out how she will perform upon launch. However, with the results from CBT, Yinlin seems to be a good character to use for the players who utilize her resonance skill primarily to fight.
Her main skill doesn’t lie in dealing lots of damage to the enemies, but her unique ability to provide dual buffs with her Outro skill and generate decent energy to replenish Concerto Energy.
Her outro skill is pretty unique as it provides a 25% Resonance liberation damage deepen bonus and an additional 20% electro damage deepen buff for the next character.
Not much is known about how to utilize her properly in the team rotation as players await her release in the game, but for being a 5* character, players can expect a good Electro Congenital unit to aid them in the game with her zapstring.

One thing Aalto ensures for the players is his unique and fun game style. The Resonator, wielding the power of wind, can move swiftly around enemies and shoot them without letting them hit him once. Aalto uses a combination of his basic attacks and skills to attack enemies with his pistols. Additionally, Aalto can taunt enemies with his basic skill, creating a mist avatar, and the skill works well even against bosses, which makes it easier to attack enemies without worrying about them getting hit.
While his intro skills only deal aero damage when he gets on the field, his outro skill is the real dealbreaker. Aalto’s concerto skills add him as a sub-DPS for aero-type main DPS like Jiyan, thus further adding to his utility to the team.

Encore is a powerhouse 5* unit in Wuthering Waves that can deal immense damage to foes. While being a ranged player who uses a rectifier to fight enemies, Encore can switch this role with her ultimate. When using her Resonance Liberation, Encore switches from a ranged character to a melee character, making her a closed-range combat devil who can punch enemies to death.
On the flip side, Encore also serves as a good quick swap DPS thanks to her Resonance skill, which is swap cancelable. Her skill can deal a great amount of damage in a short period and can regenerate a great amount of energy and concerto energy for the team, making her a good choice for players.
Talking about the drawbacks of having Encore on the team, she is not able to parry enemy attacks while she is not using her ultimate skill. While she is a ranged character, this makes it hard to dodge enemy attacks on the battlefield. Encore’s normal damage is also pretty weak outside of her ultimate form, which makes her not the best choice to stay on the field for prolonged periods of time.
To summarize things for the players, Encore is a top-notch choice, and they can utilize her in Tower of Adversity to face the game’s toughest aspect, as she provides lots of value to the players when forming a team composition.
