WoW: The War Within

In WoW: The War Within, there are currently four major Factions with a Renown track that you can progress through: the Council of Dornogal, the Assembly of the Deeps, the Hallowfall Arathi, and the Severed Threads. The Severed Threads are the Faction chiefly tied to activities within Azj-Kahet, the Nerubian zone in The War Within.

Ways To Increase Severed Threads Renown

WoW The War Within Azj Kahet Severed Threads Renown Guide Get Reputation

Each Faction has 25 Renown Levels to advance through, and it takes 2500 Reputation to progress through each Rank. To earn Renown with the Severed Threads in The War Within, there are four things you can do;

Take on Severed Threads World Quests, which you can check by hovering over the World Map icon. Typically found in Azj-Kahet.
Kill Rare Elite enemies within Azj-Kahet, which are highlighted on your map when you are in the vicinity
Complete Main Quests and Local Quests in Azj-Kahet.
- Local Quests can be differentiated from Main Story Quests because they look like the "old" yellow exclamation mark, while Main Story Quests have a brown crest background.
Once you reach Renown Level 3, enter a Pact with one of the three Leaders of the Severed Threads. Progressing your Rank with your Pact also increases your Renown for the Severed Threads.

WoW: All The War Within Season One Dungeons

There are eight dungeons in the WoW TWW Season One dungeon list, including four new and four returning instances.

Of these four methods, the fastest way to increase your Rank with the Severed Threads Renown is to complete the Main Story questline and complete each Local Story for the Sojourner achievement.

At regular intervals in the Main Story quest you will get chunks of Reputation, and a full Renown Level's worth once you complete the zone story. Once you complete a Local Story chain, most of them will reward an item that grants 500 Reputation with the Severed Threads, too.

Kill Rare Elites and complete World Quests as you come across them, but focus on completing the zone's Sojourner achievement for the fastest initial gains. When you reach Renown 3, be sure to choose a Pact and complete those associated Quests, because for every Rank you earn in your Pact, you will also earn a full Renown level for the Severed Threads.
