A new expansion in World of Warcraft means new zones to explore. New zones also means plenty of resources for players to gather to use for professions or sell on the Auction House. The fate of Azeroth may hang in the balance, but that doesn't mean that you can't stop and gather a few herbs or fish while you uncover Xal'atath's sinister plot.
From the beautiful scenery of the Isle of Dorn to the dark depths of Azj-kahet, there are plenty of herbs to find and gather for those who have the Herbalism profession. Here are all the new herbs added in The War Within along with some helpful information on how to level up Khaz Algar Herbalism.

How to Learn Khaz Algar Herbalism
You will have to wait a little bit before you can learn the new Herbalism skill for The War Within. After you've completed the introduction quests in Dalaran, there will be another series of quests involving your arrival on the Isle of Dorn and how you reach the new capital city of the expansion, Dornogal.
Once the invading Nerubians have been dealt with, you will get a quest to talk to a guard and get directions. At this point, you will be able to go speak with the Herbalism trainer who is located at (X,Y) 44.9, 69.2. Khaz Algar Herbalism will cost 95 gold.
Where to Find Mycobloom
Mycobloom is a commonly encountered fungus all across Khaz Algar. You can find an abundance of Mycobloom in all four zones.
Where to Find Blessing Blossom
Blessing Blossom is a unique looking flower that can be found only in the Isle of Dorn, The Ringing Deeps, and Hallowfall.
Where to Find Arathor's Spear
Arathor's Spear is a pointy, spear-like herb that can be gathered in the Isle of Dorn, The Ringing Deeps, and Hallowfall.
Where to Find Orbinid
Orbinid is a much more uncommon herb. When it does spawn, it can be found in The Ringing Deeps and Hallowfall.
Where to Find Luredrop
Luredrop can be found in The Ringing Deeps, Hallowfall, and Azj'kahet.
Herbalism Specialization Trees
Upon reaching 25 skill in Khaz Algar Herbalism, you will be able to choose one of three specializations that you can apply your knowledge to. You will eventually be able to get all three, so don't stress too much about which choice is right or wrong. The specializations are as follows.

Best Way to Level Khaz Algar Herbalism
Just like with any gathering profession in World of Warcraft, the best way to level Khaz Algar Herbalism is by going out and gathering as many herbs as you can while leveling. Starting out, every Mycobloom you encounter will be a guaranteed skill up until at least 25.
From there, keep an eye out for any variant herbs that appear on your mini-map. A variant node is always a guaranteed skill up no matter what your skill level currently is. If none are showing up, gather any herb you come across as an ignored herb takes up a node that could become a variant. By focusing on variant and rich nodes, you will have a much easier time getting up to 100 skill in Khaz Algar Herbalism.
Be mindful of your positioning when gathering an Irradiated herb. Depending on where the herb spawned, it can potentially send you falling to your death if you aren't careful.
