World of Warcraft Classic is currently in its seasonal event called the Season of Discovery. With this event, players are able to experience classical vanilla WoW but with a twist of having some new items and mechanics.
One thing that the latest phase of the event, Phase 4, added was the Blackrock Eruption event. This event is going to be one of the many changes in Phase 4, and here is a guide to everything players need to know about it.
What To Do First In WoW SoD Phase 4
Figuring out what to do first in WoW SoD Phase 4 can be tough, especially if you dropped off in Phase 3.
What Is The Blackrock Eruption Event In WoW SoD?
Blackrock Eruption is a game event that starts at midnight and occurs every 2 hours after that, meaning it always occurs on even hours. However, the event itself only lasts an hour, so there will always be 12 hours when it is happening and 12 when it is not. During the times that it is happening, players will be able to complete different Daily Quests, which can help them increase their reputation for the Thorium Brotherhood a notoriously difficult feat in Classic WoW otherwise.
WoW SoD: Molten Core Raid Reset Time
World of Warcraft's Season of Discovery has added the Molten Core Raid. Here's everything players need to know about when it resets.
Additionally, there will also be some PvP events, and your PvP Honor will be increased or decreased, depending on where you are in the region. For those within the Searing Gorge area, they will obtain the buff "Eruption!" Which reads, "Blackrock is Erupting! You are setting aside your petty squabbles to focus on defeating the forces of the Firelord. You currently gain no honor from PvP combat." This isn't the only time during this event that players will need to put aside their differences, as there is a questline that requires the Horde and Alliance to work together. Then, when entering Blackrock Mountain, players will obtain the "Hot Blooded" buff, which reads, "The increased temperatures in Blackrock Mountain have caused your blood to run Hot!" This buff will give you a 300% increase on your PvP Honor earned. Overall, this is a fun event that can really help players out in Phase 4 of the Season of Discovery.
