What is the Cloak of Infinite Potential in WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria?
The Cloak of Infinite Potential is a special item for characters in the WoW Remix mode and acts as one of the primary ways players will raise their power during the limited-time event.
During the event, players will be able to constantly upgrade the cloak to improve its stats, along with improving as the player levels up, much like Heirlooms, and will be able to see its stats through the Timerunner's Advantage buff.
This cloak is given to the player after completing the introduction quests just before being unleashed onto Pandaria. Once one character has done these quests and earned the cloak, all other characters can skip the quest and go straight to the isles, cloak in hand.
How to Improve and Upgrade the Cloak of Infinite Potential
To improve the Cloak of Infinite Potential, players will need to use Threads, a new consumable that will increase the stats of the cloak, including primary, secondary, and EXP gains. These, much like the new Bronze currency, are earned through nearly all activities players do in the mode, such as killing mobs and bosses, opening chests, completing quests, and raids, to name a few.
There are several rarities of Threads, with more unlocking as players progress and level up, offering bigger boosts in stats. These rarities and their respective levels are listed below.

As an added bonus, players will earn achievements the more they improve their cloak, unlocking new looks, transmogs, and alts will be able to share in the power, making them stronger and easier to level up, Each achievement earned will increase the power the clock starts with, so be sure to keep upgrading and keep those stats rising.
The final achievement, Infinite Power XII, which requires 4200 threads to be added to the cloak, will unlock the toy rewards Fury of Xuen, Kindness of Chi-Ji, Essence of Yu'lon, and Fortitude of Niuzao. These toys will make the wing appearances of the old Pandaria legendary cloaks appear at random times over 8 hours, making it a nice capstone to the cloak's journey.
Along with this and all the other features and rewards in WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria, players will have no shortage of things to do, power up, and earn during the event before jumping into The War Within later this year.
