Who Are The August Celestials In WoW MoP?

Players who played during the Mists of Pandaria expansion (or who have since gone back to the expansion) will remember the August Celestials. They are the celestial beings, Yulon (the Jade Serpent), Chi-ji (the Red Crane), Xuen (the White Tiger), and Niuzao (the Black Ox). Together, these four beings watch over Pandaria and can be found on the Timeless Isle.

During the original expansion, players couldn't gain reputation with them until they reached level 90 and had gotten to an exalted status with the Golden Locust faction. Thankfully, the remix event doesn't make it this difficult. In fact, players can start gaining reputation relatively quickly and can find the quartermaster for them at the location marked on the map above.

WoW MoP Remix - August Celestial Achievement

Finding the August Celestial faction is a little challenging in the event. Players will need to complete daily quests for them in order to start gaining reputation with them. The easiest thing to do is to travel to each of the four temples and check to see if there are any daily quests at those temples.

Yulon: The Temple of the Jade Serpent - The Jade Forest
Chi-ji: The Temple of the Red Crane - Krasarang Wilds
Xuen: The Temple of the White Tiger - Kun-Lai Summit
Niuzao: Niuzao Temple - Townlong Steppes

While this certainly isn't a quick endeavor, Blizzard did make it easier for players to gain reputation with the faction during the event than they did during the original expansion. The quickest way to ensure players can achieve exalted status with them is to just keep checking those temples for daily quests. It isn't guaranteed that the faction will have quests at all four temples, but players can still check to be sure. One major reason players want to reach exalted with them is for the Astral Emperor’s Serpent Mount that was added during the event. While the exalted reputation isn't necessary for the mount, it is one of the four requirements that players can meet (they need to meet 2).
