Though MoP Remix changes a lot about what players know about leveling up in Pandaria, a few things remain from the original expansion almost untouched. One of these systems involves Lesser Charm of Good Fortune system, which can be gifted to the various factions of Pandaria.

World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Remix Event, Explained

The latest limited-time event in WoW brings players back to Pandaria to level up in restored content and earn MoP cosmetics.

In MoP Remix Lesser Charms of Good Fortune are mostly used for these reputation gains. Though the best Lesser Charm farms have been patched out of the game, this guide explains other methods to get Lesser Charms of Good Fortune, what they are used for, and where you can turn them in across Pandaria.

What Are Lesser Charms Of Good Fortune Used For?

WoW MoP Remix Lesser Charm of Good Fortune Drop Uses

The Lesser Charm of Good Fortune item is normally used to gain additional loot from endgame content like the Siege of Orgrimmar raid and other major bosses like Ordos. But in MoP Remix, Lesser Charm of Good Fortune is mainly used by players to increase their Reputation with various factions in Pandaria.

There are a total of five groups that players can increase their Reputation with via Lesser Charms of Good Fortune.

  • The Shado-Pan
  • The August Celestials
  • Order of the Cloud Serpent
  • The Golden Lotus
  • The Klaxxi

A handful of other factions exist for reputation rewards in MoP Remix, but it does not appear that their quartermasters accept Lesser Charms of Good Fortune for reputation rewards – the Emperor Shaohao faction, for example, doesn't have a turn-in.

Some players have found that the Kirin Tor and Sunreaver factions, tied to the Isle of Thunder, are also available for Lesser Charm of Good Fortune rewards (via Elder Charms), but others have been unable to trigger the vendors to appear or offer rep rewards. This guide will be updated as more information becomes available.

WoW MoP Remix: How To Upgrade Gear

In World of Warcraft's latest event MoP Remix, upgrading gear is a matter of finding some Bronze and bringing it to the right vendor.

In order to be able to use Lesser Charms of Good Fortune to earn rep, though, most of these factions require players to have completed a preliminary questline. Most of these questlines are part of the overall Landfall Achievement or other MoP Remix Achievements.

As MoP Remix ties a lot of rewards and progression to Achievements, and players are encouraged to complete as many of these as possible, you will likely complete all of the preliminary quests as you progress normally through MoP Remix – as long as you complete each zone's main and side quests.

How To Get Lesser Charm of Good Fortune in MoP Remix

WoW MoP Remix Get Lesser Charm of Good Fortune Methods

There are two ways to acquire Lesser Charms of Good Fortune: by killing Rare Elites anywhere in Pandaria, and by completing Daily quests.

  • Rares & Rare Elites killed in the event will drop a small amount of Lesser Charms of Good Fortune. These are not highlighted unless you have a rare elite scanning addon installed.
  • Daily Quests for each faction reward Lesser Charm of Good Fortune as well, just as they do in the regular retail experience. Once you have completed each zone's major quests and progressed the intro quests for each reputation, look on your world map for blue exclamation marks to find these daily quests.

In normal retail, some enemies in the Timeless Isle have a chance to drop Lesser Charms of Good Fortune, but this option doesn't unlock until much later in leveling in either normal WoW or MoP Remix. Once you hit 50, head to the Timeless Isle to kill max-level regular enemies, collect treasures, and defeat rare elites on the for more chances to get Lesser Charms of Good Fortune.

The Timeless Isle was once the location of the infamous Frog Lesser Charm of Good Fortune Farm in MoP Remix, until it was hotfixed a few days after launch. As of publication, the best Lesser Charm of Good Fortune farm is simply to complete each faction's daily quests and hunt down Rare Elites out in the world with a group. You will get at least one from each Daily, and a handful for each Rare or Rare Elite slain.

There will be nothing that's quite as lucrative as the former frog farm MoP Players used for the first two days of the event, but you should still be able to earn a decent amount every day by rotating through each faction's quests and killing rares in between each hub.

The MoP Remix game mode for WoW might initially seem overwhelming, but going in with a plan simplifies things.

You must complete the basic quests for each of these factions before their turn-ins become available, and to unlock each reputation's daily quests.

  • For the Shado-Pan reputation, MoP remix players should head to approx. (49.5, 70.5) in the Townlong Steppes
  • For the Order of the Cloud Serpent reputation, MoP remix players should head to approx. (57.5, 45) in the Jade Forest
  • For the Golden Lotus reputation, MoP remix players should head to approx. (23.5, 72) in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms
  • For the Klaxxi reputation, MoP remix players should head to approx. (55, 36) in the Dread Wastes

For the August Celestials, you must finish the questline that leads to the opening of the gates to the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, and the Charms rewards are only accessible via NPCs who are located in different places according to each Daily quest. Other reputations are a bit simpler to start and unlock dailies/reputation rewards for – just progress normally, complete all MoP quests, and the blue checkmark should appear.

Talk to each Quartermaster and accept the "Aiding the X" quest. This requires a stack of 10x Lesser Charm of Good Fortune, and rewards you with a Cache of Infinite Treasure and reputation with that Quartermaster's faction.
