World of Warcraft has officially kicked off the fifth and final phase of Legion Remix, which features an increased maximum item level, special quests and activities, and a stacking experience buff. Though the limited-time World of Warcraft event is over halfway done, these improvements to the final phase will ensure the last six weeks of Legion Remix will go out with a bang.
Legion Remix is a limited-time World of Warcraft game mode where players blitz through the fan-favorite expansion with near-unlimited power scaling and unique abilities as they collect both new and rare cosmetics and achievements. The game mode was split into five phases: four mirroring the original patch cycle of Legion, as well as a final one called Infinite Echoes. Little was known about this “last hurrah” beyond that it would have catch-up mechanics, Remix-specific content, and more rewards.
World of Warcraft Legion Remix Phase 3 Highlights
Now, Phase 5 of Legion Remix is finally here. Infinite Echoes is officially live in World of Warcraft, bringing with it new power, boosts, and activities. For those already at endgame, the previous item level of 740 has been increased to 779, which players can reach by using Flawless Threads of Time earned through gameplay or by scrapping max-level gear. Extras of both these and Motes of a Broken Time can also now be traded in to Erus for Fragmented Mementos of Epoch Challenges, providing even more easy ways to farm Infinite Power in WoW: Legion Remix.

There are some new activities for fans to enjoy in this phase as well. Moratari now offers the “Until Our Next Hello” and “Out of Time” quests, which let players bid farewell to the Infinite Dragons, Drakonid, and Dragonspawn who have helped them along the way. What’s more, Lost Legion Infernals have appeared all around the Broken Isles, providing additional powerful enemies to defeat and loot. Loot and Timewarped Obelisks drop more frequently, and all world bosses are also always active, and respawn every 18 hours, promising even more power for fans.
For those just getting started, or trying to quickly level additional characters, Timerunner’s Mayhem is a new buff that players can get by completing Infinite Research quests. Each stack of this buff increases all experience gains by 3% for 12 hours, up to a total of 30%. When combined with the existing maximum 400% experience boost already available via Epoch Mementos, and the extra 250% at level 80, characters will quickly reach level cap – especially considering WoW just reduced the experience needed starting at 70 by about 80%.
Unfortunately, there does not seem to be any blanket increase to the amount of Bronze obtained through any sources. That said, with this increase in power, it should be even faster and easier to defeat powerful challenges, including Mythic raids and Mythic+ keystones, all of which award large amounts of the currency. This means fans should have less trouble buying the rewards they want, including new ones like the Chronos and Nightmare Weapon Enchantment Illusions WoW recently added.
How Long Do I Have Left to Beat WoW: Legion Remix?
Legion Remix ends on January 19, meaning players have six weeks from press time to finish up the game event. While that doesn’t seem like a lot of time to complete everything, this increase in power should help them catch up much faster than they otherwise might have. Indeed, some dedicated WoW: Legion Remix fans managed to reach the Limits Unbound cap of 999 in week one of the event, so even a more casual player should be able to accomplish many of their goals before the end.
Once it’s finished, World of Warcraft will almost certainly begin the Midnight Pre-Patch event. This update hasn’t formally gotten a release date yet, but World of Warcraft: Midnight is dropping on March 2, six weeks after Legion Remix ends. Between this schedule and evidence from datamined events from the expansion’s beta, fans can expect this update, which will include Midnight class changes, the Devourer demon hunter, and the Pre-Patch event, on or around January 20.
