The Burning Crusade brings a number of new dungeons to World of Warcraft Classic, and The Blood Furnace is one of the first ones that players will engage with. Indeed, with a recommended level range of 60 to 64, fans will be ready to start clearing this dungeon quite soon after they pass through the Dark Portal. That said, the first order of business is to locate the entrance to The Blood Furnace in World of Warcraft Classic, and this guide is here to assist with that endeavor.
To get right to it, players can enter The Blood Furnace through a portal at Hellfire Citadel, a named location in the center of Hellfire Peninsula. To access this portal, fans should make their way to the south end of Hellfire Citadel and climb the ramp that is located near the coordinates 46,59. The path at the top of this ramp will lead WoW Classic players directly to the Blood Furnace portal, and its coordinates are 46,51.
To note, there are two quests that are to be completed in The Blood Furnace, and fans may want to confirm that they have them before traveling to the entrance. Once inside of The Blood Furnace, players will encounter a very straightforward layout that takes them from one boss to the next. In total, fans will fight three bosses during their time in this dungeon as well as some relatively small trash pulls. While all of these threats are fairly simple to overcome, a World of Warcraft group that has access to some CC, interrupts, and the ability to dispel Magic effects will have an easier clear than one that does not.
One final thing to mention about The Blood Furnace is that a Heroic version becomes available after reaching Level 70 in WoW Classic. Players will need to obtain the Flamewrought Key before they can enter Heroic BF, though, and that can be purchased after reaching honored reputation with Thrallmar or Honor Hold. Fans can earn this reputation by running the dungeons that are in Hellfire Peninsula, and a full clear of The Blood Furnace grants around 750 of it.
