World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery Phase 2 introduces Skill Books, a new mechanic that complements the Rune system introduced in the game mode’s initial Phase. Skill Books allow players to unlock unique quality-of-life improvements for their character which, depending on the class, offer a passive bonus or active ability.
WoW Season of Discovery: How To Get Cozy Sleeping Bag
The Cozy Sleeping Bag is a new XP-boosting item that players can use as many times as they like, available in WoW Season of Discovery's Phase Two.
Unlike Runes, whose use is constrained by the available Rune slots on a WoW SoD character, any Skill Books that players find for their class can be used without any limitations. WoW SoD Phase 2 features a total of 13 unique Skill Books across each of its nine classes. Here’s where players can locate these books, along with the benefits of each, in Phase 2 of World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery.
Where to Find all Skill Books in WoW SoD Phase 2
All 13 Skill Books in WoW SoD are drops within its level 30+ 5-player dungeons, including Scarlet Monastery, Razorfen Downs, and Uldaman. Each book may drop from bosses and rare elites in the various wings of World of Warcraft's Scarlet Monastery (including Graveyard, Library, Armory, or Cathedral) and from bosses and elites in Razorfen Downs and Uldaman. Below, we've identified the bosses with the highest confirmed drop rates for each Skill Book.

Skill Books are not a guaranteed drop, so you may have to complete multiple dungeon clears before you obtain the book. Skill Books are Bind on Pickup in World of Warcraft and will only drop for the corresponding class in the party. Here is a full list of all Skill Books and their effects in WoW SoD Phase 2.
Given that Scarlet Monastery dungeons are most frequently farmed in WoW SoD, they are the best spots for acquiring these skill books. Nonetheless, obtaining a Skill Book from another boss or elite enemy in a different dungeon is a possibility.
