The pattern costs 1 piece of Dreamcloth, which already uses up 8 bolts of Dreamcloth, and at least one other elemental resource, and there's a cooldown time of a whole week to make one.
Embersilk Cloth is a common drop from humanoid enemies level 80 and up, and Volatile Fire is a drop from certain elemental enemies. These resources can also be purchased on the Auction House, but the soulbound Chaos Orb only drops from the last enemy in level 85 Heroic dungeons.

A best-in-slot for Frost Mages, Shadow Priests, and Demonology Warlocks, the Belt of the Depths is one of the easier recipes to make considering how powerful and expensive it is. Four pieces of Dreamcloth isn't very much, provided the Tailor has all the possible Dreamcloth patterns.
Several different casting classes can benefit from using this belt, and the extra gem socket is always a bonus. It's possible to buy it at the Auction House but it costs several hundred gold.

Dreamcloth is one of the most important commodities for Tailors in World of Warcraft. It's used in every high-level recipe, even the enhancements, and is also used as a currency to buy other high-level recipes.
There are a few different ways to make it, but this one takes only a day of cooldown time compared to a whole week for the other recipes. The catch is the Chaos Orbs, which only drop from the final boss of a Heroic dungeon, and are bind-on-pickup so they can't be bought or sold.

At the end of a long day in the battlegrounds or dungeons, what really matters is having enough space to hold all of one's precious and hard-earned items. Higher-level characters have more cool stuff and need more space to store it, which is why this might be the most important pattern a Tailor can learn.
It's also one of the toughest recipes to make, similar to the Embersilk Gown when it comes to the reagents required. It costs one piece of Dreamcloth to buy and eight of them to make it. Eight bolts of Dreamcloth might not seem like a lot, but the wait for each cooldown means this can take almost a whole week to complete.
