Summary
- Flame's Radiance rep gains doubled in Patch 11.1.5 to help players increase Renown and earn new rewards.
- Nightfall vendors now offer missing weapon transmogs, improving the event experience for World of Warcraft fans.
- Despite improvements, UI glitches and unobtainable titles in Nightfall still need fixing by Blizzard.
World of Warcraft just implemented a huge buff to the Nightfall event and its associated activities, with all Flame’s Radiance reputation gains being doubled, and the faction vendors now offering missing weapon and shield transmogs. These improvements should help World of Warcraft players more easily increase their Renown and earn the new rewards from the latest update.
On April 22, World of Warcraft released Patch 11.1.5, which introduced the Nightfall scenario. Fans can face off against Queen Ansurek’s remaining loyalists in an hourly event, complete daily objectives in Hallowfall and Azj-Kahet, and raise their Renown with the Flame’s Radiance faction to earn some excellent transmogs, toys, mounts, and other rewards.
World of Warcraft Is Making Big Add-On Changes In Patch 11.1.7
World of Warcraft's game director discusses a few user interface and add-on changes planned to launch with Patch 11.1.7, Legacy of Arathor.
Now, Blizzard has pushed out a hotfix that helps players earn rewards from the event and adds some items to vendors that were erroneously missing. According to a forum post by WoW community manager Kaivax on May 2, all reputation gains with the Flame’s Radiance faction – including from daily and weekly quests, and first-time completion bonuses – have been doubled. Additionally, weapons and shields that match the white and black Arathi sets have been added to the Nightfall vendors, allowing fans to exchange Radiant Emblems of Service to obtain powerful weapons while also completing their new transmogs.
Before these improvements, earning reputation with the Flame’s Radiance faction was quite slow. Completing daily quests or the Nightfall scenario provided relatively small amounts of reputation, with even less on subsequent clears, meaning dedicated players would be lucky to gain two levels of Renown each week unless they spent a lot of time grinding on multiple characters. These buffs should make the process of earning Renown with the Flame’s Radiance and earning rewards from Nightfall much smoother for all World of Warcraft fans.

Unfortunately, Nightfall is still not without its problems. Though the missing weapons have finally been added to the vendors, and many of the game-breaking bugs have been ironed out, players have still been encountering UI glitches with the Nightfall event, invincible monsters who lock them in combat during daily quests, and other problems. What's more, eight of the 10 titles that were supposed to be obtained via Renown progression never made it to the live game. Hopefully, World of Warcraft can continue to fix these issues to improve this content in the future.
Luckily, fans won’t have to wait long for even more activities to enjoy. The Season 2 Turbo Boost begins on May 13, Horrific Visions Revisited on May 20, and Dastardly Duos on June 3. What’s more, World of Warcraft also recently revealed Patch 11.1.7, Legacy of Arathor, which is looking to be a much more content-rich update than its predecessor.
