After ten years, World of Tanks  has allowed players to wage war across generations of consoles and platforms. Now, its latest game mode will allow fans to play through the final days of World War II. According to developer Wargaming, the Road to Berlin event commemorates the 75th anniversary of World War II's conclusion in Europe.

In a new trailer, Wargaming explained that Road to Berlin is a PvE event that will run until May 18. During the game's latest campaign, players will run through five missions against AI enemy tanks. Completing specific objectives will allow players to unlock more vehicles or revive teammates.

To reward players, World of Tanks is offering a premium IS-2S tank, bounty equipment, badges and other awards. The event will also offer five tanks with unique strength, speed and accuracy benefits. As such, users will be able to play together in groups of five. The trailer also revealed a new Berlin map.

Overall, World of Tanks  fans should be excited for this big update. With a variety of new maps and tank-based missions, the game still has a lot to offer. Hopefully, The Road to Berlin brings in new players while still appealing to veteran simulation fans.

World of Tanks  is available now on iOS, Mac, PC, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
