World of Warcraft recently shared an official preview of Bel’ameth, the new Night Elf city being constructed beneath Amirdrassil. Players can explore this burgeoning new town after World of Warcraft releases Patch 10.2.5, Seeds of Renewal, on January 16.
During the Patch 10.2 epilogue, the Night Elves of World of Warcraft finally got a new home in Bel’ameth. Meaning “Arms of the Goddess” in their native tongue, this nascent town is being built beneath the boughs of Amirdrassil, the new World Tree that sprouted west of the Ohn’ahran Plains after the events of the final raid in Dragonflight.
World of Warcraft Reveals Release Date for Seeds of Renewal Patch
In its first post of 2024, Blizzard gives World of Warcraft players the date for when the Seeds of Renewal content update will go live.
In Patch 10.2.5, Seeds of Renewal, World of Warcraft players will discover Bel’ameth is being transformed into a full-fledged city. In a recent blog post, World of Warcraft shared a first look at what the Night Elf city will have to offer. The gorgeous city is full of iconic points of interest, as well as Kaldorei characters from across World of Warcraft’s long history, some of whom will be involved in the Dragonflight epilogue quests coming in the new patch. World of Warcraft players from both factions will be able to enter Bel’ameth, but only Alliance players will be able to use certain portals, amenities, and rewards within.
Bel’ameth Points of Interest in World of Warcraft
- Arlithrien Lodge: A structure in northwest Amirdrassil that pays homage to the eponymous pools of Teldrassil.
- Bel’ameth Harbor & Evenfall Watchtower: A dock and lookout point to the northeast of the city proper that contains a portal to Feralas–one of the many gateways to other World of Warcraft zones controlled by the Kaldorei.
- Twilight Watchtower: An exile’s haven north of Bel’ameth where Dark Rangers, Death Knights, Demon Hunters, and Shen’dralar mages dwell.
- Major Night Elf NPCs like Jarod Shadowsong, Mordent Evershade, and more.
Players have already had the chance to take a first glimpse at Bel’ameth on the Patch 10.2.5 PTR. They have noticed plenty of Easter eggs and interesting details, including a flavorful debuff Horde players get while exploring the World of Warcraft area. That said, the official release is sure to have even more surprises in store for players to discover.
Bel’ameth isn’t the only city getting a makeover in World of Warcraft Patch 10.2.5. The Worgen are finally getting Gilneas back in a new questline 13 years in the making. Players can experience this and more when the first World of Warcraft update for 2024 goes live on January 16.
