World of Warcraft Fans Discover Demon Hunter Secret in Patch 10.2
Some World of Warcraft fans have discovered a secret in the Emerald Dream from Patch 10.2, Guardians of the Dream, only available to Demon Hunters.
This year, World of Warcraft added the Junior Timekeeper’s Racing Belt to their pile of Winter Veil gifts. This toy allows players to periodically drop rings as they move around on the ground or in the air, which last for about seven minutes. These rings act like those found in Dragon Racing courses in World of Warcraft, with party members being able to see and collect them, allowing players to design racecourses for one another almost anywhere in the game world. According to the WoW blog post announcing the gifts, players have until January 1 to get this gift.
How to Get Free Winter Veil Gifts in World of Warcraft
- Go to Ironforge as an Alliance player or Orgrimmar as a Horde player.
- Find the Winter Veil tree and interact with the presents beneath it, each of which will have a quest marker on it.
- Open the gifts and add the toys and minions to the Collections tab by right-clicking on them.
There is a new World of Warcraft achievement associated with this toy as well. Players can pick up the Junior Racing Champion Feat of Strength achievement by flying through 30 rings left by other players, and by having others do the same with their own. This achievement can be earned after Winter Veil is over, but the toy has a reduced cooldown during the event, making it even easier to get right now.
There are a few other Winter Veil gifts to collect in-game right now too, but these rewards are pets, toys, or limited-time festive consumables that have been given away in previous years. While these rewards may not be useful for veterans, new World of Warcraft players won’t want to miss out on these other free goodies.
The Junior Timekeeper’s Belt is about to become even more fun in World of Warcraft’s next content update. Dragonriding is coming to almost every World of Warcraft zone in Patch 10.2.5 when it arrives early next year, meaning players can soon design custom racecourses for Dynamic Flying nearly anywhere.
