The new Epic class weapons from World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery are coming to modern retail WoW as a part of its 20th anniversary. Players can pick up these awesome transmogs during the Classic Timewalking event as a part of the World of Warcraft 20th anniversary event.
Season of Discovery, World of Warcraft Classic’s latest experiment, introduces brand-new stuff to the game, such as class-changing Rune engravings, revamped raid bosses, and never-before-seen dungeons. Phase 5 of WoW Classic Season of Discovery recently went live, bringing with it a batch of fresh content, including a cycle of new class-specific Epic weapons fans can collect.
World of Warcraft Temporarily Removing Limitation on Character Service
One of the free character services in World of Warcraft is having its limitations temporarily relaxed, allowing fans to use it as much as they want.
While these class weapons were originally only available in Season of Discovery, World of Warcraft is about to change that. Classic Timewalking is coming to World of Warcraft during its massive 20th anniversary event, opening several iconic Classic dungeons for the first time in over a decade. Bobadormu, a new vendor for the Timewalking event, has tons of items in exchange for Timewarped Badges, including cosmetic versions for all of these World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery class weapons.

Unlike their Season of Discovery counterparts, these cosmetic weapons are not limited by class. Any World of Warcraft character who can use one-handed swords can wield the Hunter’s Farstrider’s Huntsblade, and any shield-wielding class can use the Warrior’s Gilded Drakecrest. That said, many of these new weapons perfectly match their respective class’ Tier 2 sets in World of Warcraft, which are getting revamped versions during the event.
Unfortunately, these items are quite costly: one-handed weapons cost 1500 Timewarped Badges, the shields are 2000, and the two-handed ones will run 2500 each. While the ability to quickly transfer currency across World of Warcraft accounts makes collecting Timewarped Badges much easier, it may be hard to pick up all of these items during the event. It remains to be seen if Classic Timewalking will be added to the normal event rotation, or it will return during future anniversary events – and if these weapons will be purchasable again in either case – so fans will want to collect as many as they can while they’re available, just in case.
There will be plenty of other things to obtain during WoW’s 20th anniversary event as well. Beyond the Tier 2 sets and Timewalking, players can pick up rewards from past World of Warcraft anniversaries during the celebration. The event is scheduled to begin on October 22 on the WoW Public Test Realm calendar, but fans can expect to hear an official start date very soon.
