World of Warcraft just doubled the value of all Bronze caches, tripled the strength of Eternal Threads, and octupled the reputation gains for Emperor Shaohao in Mists of Pandaria Remix. These incredible buffs will make powering up gear and purchasing all the collectibles in this World of Warcraft event much easier.
WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria is a PvE game mode in which characters power through the 12-year-old expansion with powerful abilities, faster leveling, and modern convenience and class balances. The limited-time event started on May 16, and is set to run through August 19, 2024 – a week before World of Warcraft: The War Within goes live on August 26.

WoW Remix players can earn this golden variation of a popular Mists of Pandaria mount during the limited-time event.
Now that the event has been out for about a month, World of Warcraft has rolled out some amazing buffs that will make WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria even more rewarding. Bronze Caches had their values doubled, and Spools of Eternal Threads had the stat increases for the Cloak of Infinite Potential tripled. What’s more, the reputation gains for Emperor Shaohao – one of the most tedious of the World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria factions – increased eightfold. These buffs are live now, and can be confirmed with the new Timerunner’s Mastery buffs.
One of the few complaints about the game mode is the high cost of upgrading gear with the same currency used to purchase the mode’s exclusive cosmetics, which led to controversies like frog farming in WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria. Originally, World of Warcraft looked into reducing these costs, but ran into unexpected problems due to interactions between Dragonflight and WoW Remix. The increase to Bronze acquisition rates is an attempt to alleviate that stress.
Bronze Caches can be obtained via a wide variety of content, ranging from daily dungeons from the Party Finder to once-per-character achievement rewards. This gives players a lot of room for how they want to farm Bronze in World of Warcraft Remix: Mists of Pandaria, and gives them a wide variety of options to choose from when playing the game mode.
These changes came at a perfect time for World of Warcraft. Players have about a month to acquire Bronze at these heightened rates before The War Within Pre-Patch arrives, likely somewhere in July. Then, both it and WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria will run concurrently near the end of summer, with early access for WoW: The War Within starting on August 22, and the full launch four days later. Finally, World of Warcraft will kick off Season 1 of The War Within two weeks later on September 10.
