World of Warcraft is adding a Max button to the Transfer Currency window in The War Within Patch 11.0.5. While seemingly a small addition, this simple quality-of-life feature will save a lot of time for characters who need to move tons of currencies across their World of Warcraft characters.
Warbands are a new feature officially added during the Pre-Expansion update for World of Warcraft: The War Within. Marketed as “account-wide everything,” Warbands is a blanket of quality-of-life improvements that allow players to share reputations, achievement progress, and even certain types of currencies collected from various parts of World of Warcraft.
World of Warcraft Shadow Priests Have Special Dialogue in The War Within Campaign Finale
During the campaign finale of World of Warcraft: The War Within, there are a number of special lines of dialogue that only Shadow Priests can get.
However, a simple addition to this system is going to make the process of moving currencies across characters much easier. As discovered by WoW content creator MrGM on the Public Test Realm, World of Warcraft is adding a Max button to the Transfer Currency interface. Using it, fans can quickly siphon all of their currencies onto a single character, making the process of consolidation even more convenient than before.
Max Currency Transfer Button in WoW Patch 11.0.5
Previously, transferring currencies across characters required them to input numbers into the box, or otherwise type a large number into it so the autocorrect function sets it to the maximum amount. With the Max button, players will no longer need to type numbers in if they want to transfer the full amount, and can instead complete a transfer with only a few button presses. While it didn’t take long to transfer currencies across characters in a World of Warcraft Warband before, the Max button will help make this process even faster.
Needless to say, fans are excited to see this simple-yet-useful addition to World of Warcraft. Many players have been hoping Blizzard would add this exact feature to the Transfer Currency system, and are overjoyed to see it arriving. That said, they hope this is only the first of many innovations, and would love to see even more convenience added to it, such as the ability to transfer all of a select World of Warcraft currency from across the Warband to a single character all at once.
While World of Warcraft hasn’t officially given fans a release date for Patch 11.0.5, the WoW PTR may have already revealed it. The World of Warcraft 20th anniversary event is scheduled for October 22 on the test realm's in-game calendar. As one of the major features of the update, it is safe to say Patch 11.0.5 will probably arrive the same day, though it could technically drop a week or two earlier or later.
