Starting next week, World of Warcraft players will have new missions and collectibles to look forward to with the upcoming Trading Post update for May. Since its debut in Patch 10.0.5, World of Warcraft has updated the Trading Post monthly with new tasks for players to complete and rewards to collect.

Last month, the Trading Post rewarded World of Warcraft players with the Blades of Elune as the major prize for completing various objectives in the Traveler's Log before the end of the month. Players will only have until Sunday, April 30 to finish any outstanding objectives and collect the April Trading Post rewards before the month ends. However, Blizzard has stated that any rewards that are featured in the Trading Post may return in future months. Only time will tell when the Blades of Elune and other April rewards will get a repeat run. However, mount collectors may want to focus on May's reward track.

Starting Monday, May 1, players that earn 1,000 Traveler's Log points throughout the month will earn the Savage Green Battle Turtle mount, which is a ground mount that has spikes and rockets attached to its saddle. The update to the Trading Post will come one day before the release of World of Warcraft Patch 10.1, Embers of Neltharion. Other rewards that players can spend their hard-earned Trader's Tenders on include the robotic Pippin pet for 600 Tenders, and some cloaks and weapons that will cost anywhere between 50 and 400 Tenders each. The most expensive reward of the month is one that World of Warcraft transmog hunters may want. The Vestment of the Horned Valarjar ensemble set will cost 800 Trader's Tenders. Naturally, players that have saved up from previous months will have choices to make with the upcoming slate.

The objectives that World of Warcraft players will have to complete in the Traveler's Log will be themed around the Children's Week holiday, as well as some content that will arrive with Patch 10.1. One of the new objectives will reward players with 150 points in the Traveler's Log for completing one of the Fyrakk Assaults, which is a world event that will spawn periodically throughout the Dragon Isles. However, May's objectives will not involve the Aberrus raid instance, which will go live on May 9.

In addition, World of Warcraft players can earn additional rewards via Twitch Drops next week by watching Embers of Neltharion content shown by participating channels. Between the Trading Post and all that Patch 10.1 has to offer, the upcoming month may be one of the busiest to come to World of Warcraft in some time.
