Summary

  • June trading post rewards in World of Warcraft include the fiery Molten Coremaera mount.
  • The Dastardly Duos event will pit players against bosses from past expansions in June.
  • World of Warcraft players can expect new story content with Patch 11.1.7 and the return of the Midsummer Fire Festival.

World of Warcraft revealed the full slate of Trading Post rewards that players can obtain throughout June, including the fiery Molten Coremaera mount after earning 1,000 Traveler's Log Points. Starting Sunday, June 1, World of Warcraft players will have over four weeks to spend Trader's Tenders on cosmetic collectibles like the Spotted Black Riding Goat mount and a Colorful Beach Chair to kick back and relax in.

Along with the monthly slate of Trading Post offers, the first week of June will see the launch of the Dastardly Duos event. This limited engagement will pit players against bosses from past World of Warcraft expansions, with at least two of them in the arena at the same time. World of Warcraft players can tackle Dastardly Duos either alone, with other players, or form a party with NPC Followers. Given that Dastardly Duos will run from June 3 to July 15, the event will likely have some entries in the June 2025 Traveler's Log for players to fill out for Trader's Tenders.

World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery Has Bad News for Players

World of Warcraft Classic shares some bittersweet news about Season of Discovery, Blizzard's ongoing experiment with the retro servers.

Although players will have until May 31 to finish off their May 2025 Trading Post reward tracks, World of Warcraft will offer some fiery rewards starting next week. According to Blizzard, the main reward for earning 1,000 Traveler's Log Points in June is the Molten Coremaera mount, a two-headed chimaera beast themed on World of Warcraft's classic Molten Core raid. A blue-colored Coldflame Cormaera and a Pearlescent Goblin Wave Shredder will be available for 700 Trader's Tenders each. The most expensive reward in the June Trading Post slate is the Garrlok ogre pet for 750 Trader's Tenders. Fiery cosmetic rewards such as the Molten Inferno Helm, Coldflame Battlegear Ensemble, and some Tropical Swimwear. Some weapons, like the Coldflame Burner gun and the Sunwell Bardiche, will also be available for World of Warcraft players to add to their arsenal.

World of Warcraft's June Trading Post came amid a busy time for the game. Along with the arrival of Dastardly Duos and the ongoing Horrific Visions Revisited event, World of Warcraft will launch Patch 11.1.7 in the coming weeks. The upcoming patch will add new story content for players to peruse, including the backstory of The War Within's main villain, the entity named Xal'atath.

During the latter half of June, the annual Midsummer Fire Festival will return to World of Warcraft and offer even more fire-themed rewards for players to purchase via in-game currencies. Between the June Trading Post slate and the Midsummer Fire Festival, World of Warcraft players will have plenty of fire-based cosmetics to collect.
