Summary

  • The new Man'ari Eredar customization quest in World of Warcraft offers players Draenei-themed cosmetics that are well worth the effort to earn.
  • Both Alliance and Horde players can unlock these cosmetics by completing the Prophecy Stirs quest and earning the Seeing Red achievement.

The new Man’ari Eredar customization unlock quest in World of Warcraft gives players tons of new Draenei-themed cosmetics they can earn. Earning these items takes World of Warcraft players a bit more effort than completing the quest itself, but the rewards are well worth the time.

Alliance and Horde players of both World of Warcraft factions can pick up the Prophecy Stirs quest from Santus outside the castle in Stormwind or in the Valley of Honor in Orgrimmar once they reach level 70, regardless of race. Completing the quest awards the Seeing Red achievement, which unlocks the Man’ari-themed customization options for Draenei in WoW, as well as the Mirror of Humility toy that temporarily transforms them into an Eredar.

However, once players complete this quest, Hatuun directs them to find Gaal, the nearby blacksmith, who has a number of new items for sale. By exchanging Veiled Argunite and a healthy collection of Legion-era crafting materials, players can unlock the Path of the Naaru Hearthstone cosmetic toy for their WoW characters, plus eight new Draenei-themed weapon transmogs: the Velenite Claymore, the Telaasti Mining Pick, the Lightforged Seeker, Anchorite’s Sorrow, the Ancient Soulpriest’s Staff, the Arinor Ritual Baton, the Eredath Crystal Hammer, and the Recovered Kaarinos Blade.

Besides Veiled Argunite, the materials needed to purchase these cosmetics can be bought from the Auction House, gathered from Argus, or purchased with Primal Sargerite. To unlock all nine cosmetic items, players will need to collect the following:

  • 1,620 Veiled Argunite, earned from World Quests and other activities on Argus.
  • 365 Empyrium, gathered by Miners.
  • 240 Lightweave Cloth, dropped by enemies across the zone.
  • 90 Astral Glory, collected by Herbalists.
  • 70 Fiendish Leather, harvested by Skinners from certain creatures on Argus.
  • 35 Argulite, 20 Labradorite, and 5 Florid Malachite, sometimes found in gathering nodes or via Prospecting Empyrium as a Jewelcrafter.

The Man’ari Eredar customizations themselves can be mixed and matched with existing ones, but characters who use the new red skin tones get an extra treat. The Gift of the Naaru racial ability, which normally conjures a blue rune on their forehead, instead creates a Fel-touched green rune for these Man'ari World of Warcraft characters.

This bevy of new cosmetics and unique animations set a promising trend for World of Warcraft. Many players would love to see other similar options, such as Fel Orcs or Broken Draenei, added to the game. If World of Warcraft ever makes these customization options available, hopefully, they will come with their own special details and cosmetics for players to enjoy.

World of Warcraft is available now for PC.
