World of Warcraft Classic just reduced the reputation requirements for purchasing class Runes from the Azeroth Commerce Authority and Durotar Supply and Logistics factions in Season of Discovery. However, for some reason, this change has only affected the vendors in Stormwind and Orgrimmar, not the other capital cities in World of Warcraft.
The Season of Discovery is a new take on World of Warcraft Classic that adds several surprises to the game, most notably Runes, class-altering abilities players can discover throughout the game world. Each class in World of Warcraft Classic can collect one of their twelve Runes via the Azeroth Commerce Authority for the Alliance, or Durotar Supply and Logistics for the Horde.
Previously, these Runes required players to reach Honored with their respective factions, after which they could unlock the engraving for 4 gold and 50 silver. As of a recent hotfix, World of Warcraft players can purchase these Runes once they reach Friendly, with their base price reduced to two gold. Strangely enough, only Elaine Compton and Jornah, the vendors in Stormwind and Orgrimmar respectively, are currently reflecting these changes at the moment, with the faction vendors in other World of Warcraft capital cities still requiring Honored.

This discrepancy between the supply officers is presumably a bug, so players should expect this to be fixed soon. Until it does, fans looking to pick up these Runes should be sure to visit Stormwind and Orgrimmar first to make sure they get their World of Warcraft Classic Rune faster and cheaper than before.
In order to gain reputation with these factions in World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery, players must find, fulfill, and turn in Waylaid Supply Crates. Players can find these items on enemies of level 6 or higher, and can turn them in to a Supply Officer for silver and reputation. Filling the order with requested items gives even more rewards, and allows players to pick up another Waylaid Supply Crate. Lower-level crates stop giving reputation after reaching Friendly, so players can’t farm low-level mobs forever. Fans should be sure to turn in these crates when they can, as they can buy bags, recipes, and these amazing World of Warcraft Runes for their efforts.
