World of Warcraft just revealed the new Anubisath Guardian Pack, a cash shop Transmog bundle that includes a hefty stipend of bonus Trader’s Tender, and players are not happy about it due to its timing with the Trading Post Outlet. There are a lot of things to spend Trader’s Tender on this month due to this Trading Post anniversary event, leading many World of Warcraft fans to see this new bundle as predatory.
The Trading Post is an in-game store where players can spend Trader’s Tender on a stock of items that rotates each month. Trader’s Tender is primarily earned by having an active subscription, completing monthly tasks in the Traveler's Log, through pre-purchases for World of Warcraft expansions, and occasionally as a part of cash shop bundles.

WoW Trader’s Tender Bundle for Trading Post Anniversary Month
Now, World of Warcraft has released another cosmetic set that includes a generous purse of Trader’s Tender. The Anubisath Guardian Pack is a new Transmog bundle that includes the following items:
-
Ensemble: South Guard's Copper Raiment (Transmog Set)
- South Guard’s Copper Facemask
- South Guard’s Copper Mantle
- South Guard’s Copper Cuirass
- South Guard’s Copper Cinch
- South Guard’s Copper Greaves
- South Guard’s Copper Chausses
- South Guard’s Copper Boots
- South Guard’s Copper Gauntlets
- South Guard’s Copper Handwraps
- South Guard’s Copper Cloak
- Anubisath's Sunscorched Blade (One-Handed Sword Transmog)
- Anubisath's Sunscorched Greatblade (Two-Handed Sword Transmog)
- 700 Trader’s Tender
As mentioned, this is not the first time Blizzard has sold Trader’s Tender as part of cash shop bundles. 200 were available from the Corsage Pack, 500 from the High Scholar’s Pack, and 600 from the Enchanted Sweeper Bundle over the last few years. That said, with a whopping 700 Trader’s Tender included in this new bundle, the Anubisath Guardian Pack has broken the record for the biggest chunk of Trader’s Tender available for real money, not including the large amounts available as a pre-purchase bonus for World of Warcraft: Midnight or The War Within.
The timing of this bundle is rather significant because the Trading Post Outlet is open this month. To celebrate the three-year anniversary of the Trading Post in World of Warcraft, an extra store with over 200 returning items, including monthly rewards from 2024, has temporarily opened its doors. The vast quantity of items available for Trader’s Tender right now means the Anubisath Guardian Pack is that much more tempting, which has only served to incite the anger and dismay of fans across social media, including Vampsob and Basement Ogre on Twitter.
Deals like this seem to be a new trend for World of Warcraft. Though there haven’t been any other Trader’s Tender cash shop packs for a long time, the last one in WoW was the Enchanted Sweeper Bundle, which was also sold when the Trading Post Outlet first opened almost exactly a year ago in February 2025. So long as players continue to buy these packs, World of Warcraft will likely keep selling them.
Is World of Warcraft’s Anubisath Guardian Pack Worth $25?
The items in the Anubisath Guardian Pack are copper-and-red recolors of the South Guard’s Golden Raiment, Anubisath’s Golden Greatblade, and Anubisath’s Golden Blade from the Trading Post this month, which can be purchased for a total of 1,030 Trader’s Tender. This means the pack has an estimated combined value of 1,730 Trader’s Tender, which is decent for $25 when compared to other cash shop items in World of Warcraft. For example, Lana’thel’s Crimson Couture costs $20 for a single Transmog ensemble, and though it is not a recolor like the South Guard’s Copper Raiment, it doesn’t include any Trader’s Tender.

The bundle itself will be available until World of Warcraft: Midnight releases on March 2. It may return to the Trading Post at some point in the future, but it will likely cost around the same amount of Trader’s Tender as its Golden counterparts do, and will arrive no earlier than June. If fans really want the set or need the Trader’s Tender for the Trading Post Outlet, they might want to consider picking it up. They can even technically do so with in-game gold by purchasing WoW Tokens and turning them into Battle.net balance. Regardless of what players decide, they should remember that they are voting with their wallets by choosing to buy cash shop bundles or abstaining from them.
