World of Tanks is adding some ruthless aggression to its already robust lineup of tanks. The 5.0 update, releasing soon, will see an addition of WWE content in a SummerSlam promotion with the federation.

Including a WWE season pass, players will have the ability to use tanks influenced by some of WWE's latest and greatest superstars. The event, which starts today and lasts until September 30, will see the addition of tanks themed after Andre the Giant, Sgt. Slaughter, and the recently retired Undertaker, among others. Though a Stone Cold Steve Austin tank will be free for all.

In addition to the tanks, a new type of garage will be added to the game inspired by the WWE. Wrestlers will be unlockable through crew chests so expect the likes of Ric Flair, Roman Reigns, and "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels throughout the season as well as unique introductions for the themed tanks.

This isn't the first time WWE has had an in game promotion with a video game other than it's own 2K licensed games. The King of Fighters Allstar saw WWE wrestlers added to the mobile games mixing it up with John Cena and Terry Bogard.

Those who are looking to bring the WWE a bit closer to home can look into WWE Legends Royal Rumble, a card game based on WWE Legends. Meanwhile World of Tanks will be adding cross-play functionality between the PS4 and Xbox One in the new update, with the intention of adding more players to both consoles player-base.

World of Tanks is available now for iOS, Android, PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
