Players who want to farm up Qi in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty should not feel alone. This is a notoriously hard game in the middle of a notoriously hard genre, so getting every advantage possible and inching toward victory is a wise idea. Power leveling should be something every non-speedrunner considers doing.

There is indeed a loop to follow in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty that will give players lots of levels. Executed correctly, even as levels get harder to earn, this should amount to about one level per every ten minutes. This rate is obviously much faster when performed at lower levels. If players have a decent gaming session available, it's possible to hit the max level on a single map.

General Qi Farming Strategy

Wo Long Fallen Dynasty Starting Battle Flag In A Mission
  1. Clear an entire level.
  2. Save at the final Battle Flag.
  3. Clear the entire level in reverse.
  4. Use all Qi pieces in the player inventory.
  5. Save at the first Battle Flag.
  6. Repeat.

Players following this strategy can expect to hit the maximum level in the game with one dedicated gaming session. While it may not sound very progressive to go back and forth, clearing out maps over and over again, there are some serious perks.

Players will top off their fortitude and morale soon after starting this process. Because of this, they'll be stronger than every other creature they fight and even stronger when clearing them for the second time. Repeatedly going from start to finish and then from finish to start manufactures colossal amounts of Qi in short order, with multiple levels per each clear.

Not all creatures are worth the same amount of Qi. High levels and creature types matter a great deal. However, certain creatures have so much health that farming them becomes a chore. The creatures in The Battle Of Hulaoguan Pass are easy to kill and yet very rewarding in the Qi department.

The first time players fight against a Changgui, it's treated as a mini-boss. These varieties can be killed with a few swipes or just one backstab. The same goes for the Zhuyans. The other creatures around the battlefield are likewise beefy enough to yield experience and yet weak enough to die from a well-placed strike.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
