The Humble Store is currently holding a Spring Sale that offers tons of savings on several video games for the PC. Among the many titles that are up for grabs for cheaper prices right now is CD Projekt Red's The Witche r franchise. It is worth remembering that all deals at the Humble Store's Spring Sale will end on May 21st, giving players tons of time to browse and purchase a deal or two.

Headling The Humble Store's The Witcher Sale is the critically-acclaimed game, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The game is available for a whopping 70% off, which reduces its price to $14.99 from its current price of $49.99. Of course, ever since the release of Netflix's The Witcher back in late 2019, CD Projekt Red reported that sales of The Witcher 3 skyrocketed despite being released four years ago.

Of course, while the Netflix series went to The Witcher novels for inspiration, it is obvious that the creators of the TV show also used the games as a reference, which is evident in the easter eggs that can be found throughout the show. Shortly after the release of the show's first season, Netflix confirmed that a second season is already underway, but unfortunately, the production of the show is now delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Now, players who have seen Netflix's The Witcher, but are unfamiliar with the video games except The Witcher 3, would be happy to know that the first two games are also discounted at Humble. The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is currently available at Humble for $2.99, which is 85% off its original price. Moreover, players interested to really delve deep into The Witcher's lore can start from the very beginning with The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director's Cut, which is available now at Humble for $1.49.

As for the future of The Witcher franchise, CD Projekt Red revealed that after the release of Cyberpunk 2077, the studio will be working on a new Witcher game, but sadly, it won't be The Witcher 4. According to the studio's president, The Witcher 3 serves as the end of Geralt's story and the original trilogy in general. As of the moment, it is unclear how this new Witcher game will come together, but it is exciting to see what CD Projekt Red will come up with.
