CD Projekt Red has confirmed that The Witcher 4 will be featured at the State of Unreal event on Tuesday, June 3. That day, Witcher 4 fans can look forward to a showcase of the "innovative technology & features" that will power Witcher 4 "and beyond." Those interested can tune in on June 3 at 9:30am ET.

Now, it's unclear exactly how much Witcher 4 fans can expect to see. It's possible that the showcase will give fans their first look at Witcher 4 gameplay powered by Unreal Engine 5, but it's also possible that its presence at the event will be to show off some of the environments that players will get to explore in the new game. Alternatively, it's possible that Witcher 4 will get another cinematic trailer made with Unreal Engine 5. It could be that The Witcher 4 showing is purely a technical showcase. Ultimately, Witcher fans won't know for sure until the State of Unreal event kicks off on June 3.

It may be the most exciting, but The Witcher 4 is just one of CD Projekt Red's current projects that is set in the expansive Witcher universe. At least two sequels to The Witcher 4 are planned, plus a full-blown Witcher 1 remake is also in development alongside a new Witcher multiplayer game. While The Witcher Netflix series is coming to an end after its fifth season, there should be no shortage of Witcher games for fans to look forward to in the years ahead.
