Who is the Lasso Man in Lethal Company
The Lasso Man is a humanoid ’stick figure’, made of a single coiled red rope. It resembles a lasso, hence Lethal Company fans have named it ‘The Lasso Man’. This entity was either scrapped from the base game or is simply unfinished content, as it features no animations or texturing. The presence of the Lasso Man character model in the game files hints at the possibility of it being added in a future update for Lethal Company.
The Lasso Man behaves similarly to the Ghost Girl, who chases a single player at a time and haunts them to death. However, the Lasso Man is incapable of killing anyone. Its purpose is to terrify players by bringing up past deaths of their teammates, making them paranoid. If players encounter this figure, their vision starts to distort and they will start seeing blood.
As it’s unfinished content, the Lasso Man is not available in the normal playthroughs of Lethal Company. If players really want to meet the Lasso Man, they’ll need to install a mod named “Brutal Company”.
Brutal Company is a much more threatening version of Lethal Company. It features random ‘Moon events’ and makes it harder for players to survive. The Lasso Man is randomly spawned in a unique event in Brutal Company called ‘Lasso Man is Real’. Although it cannot kill, the Lasso Man definitely takes players by surprise whenever it spawns.
While most monsters in Lethal Company instantly want to kill anyone who approaches them, the Lasso Man just stands there in an eerie and unsettling way. Many fans hope that the Lasso Man will be introduced into the base game – but as of now, it is only present in the Brutal Company mod.
