Completing Act 2 of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 gives players the ability to fly on Esquie. This ability completely opens up the map, offering so many new areas to explore, many of which are flying up in the sky.
While some of these locations are entire dungeons to explore, some are a bit smaller, but are still worthwhile visits. One of the locations players may come across is the Flying Cemetery, where they will meet a white Chalier Nevron who will ask them what weapon it should wield; here's how to answer.
What Weapon Should The Chalier Wield In The Flying Cemetery In Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
When you approach the white Chalier Nevron in the Flying Cemetery, it won't be hostile and will only ask you what weapon it should wield. While it's not hostile yet, your answer here will determine what weapon the Chalier uses whenever you do fight it. The answer here is permanent, so be sure to choose wisely. There are three available options:
- Spear
- Sword
- Hammer
Chaliers are common enemies found in the Forgotten Battlefield, and your answer should be based on which Chalier type you are most familiar with facing. This Chalier is simply a stronger version of those found before, and the attack patterns will be the exact same. I personally was most familiar with the Sword variant's attack pattern, so that's the weapon I chose.
After choosing the Nevron's weapon, it will be inside the hollowed-out building just off to the right of where you spoke to it, and it will now approach you and attack on sight. This Nevron simply has better stats than those you've faced before, and as long as you choose a weapon you're familiar with, it shouldn't pose much of a problem with good parry timing.
How To Level Up Fast In Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
Grinding out levels is a part of every RPG, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is no different. Here is how players can level up the quickest.
Should You Kill Chalier In The Flying Cemetery In Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
Defeating the Chalier will give you the
Longer Shell Picto at level 19, along with some XP and Chroma. After the fight ends, the Chalier will kneel down and you can ask it a few questions to understand what just happened. After those few questions, the Chalier will ask you to kill them.
Your next dialogue choice is final and can't be undone.
After the Chalier asks you, "Expeditioner, kill me," your next dialogue options will determine your additional rewards for this side quest:
|
I... Understand. Alright. I'll do as you wish. |
|
|---|---|
|
Are you sure? Why not find a new purpose? |
11,680 Chroma |
If you choose the second option, you'll first need to leave the Flying Cemetery and go back to the overworld, then come back to the Chalier. You'll find that he still killed himself, and the Chroma will be left at his feet, and you'll miss out on the
Auto Powerful Picto.
