A lot of the materials in Arc Raiders are either useful in certain quests or players will need them to upgrade their workstations. The Refiner is a workstation where players can use the smaller crafting materials to make the refined materials, which are useful for a lot of things. Upgrading the refiner station will require Motors, which are quite hard to come by. Where to Find Motors in Arc Raiders
Motors can be found on all maps, but as players won't get these easily, they will need to look in places that have a high chance of dropping these items. The first method of acquiring these motors is to breach and search the broken-down cars all around the maps. If you want a large collection of cars, then the Parking Garage in Buried City is your best bet. There are a lot of cars here on the different floors, so you could potentially get 1-2 Motors by the time you clear it out.

The first method can potentially yield a few Motors, but there are better methods. The second method is to go and search for the numerous buses on any map. A good place where you can find a lot of these in a small area is the Dam Battlegrounds map. Go to the North Complex Elevator near the Generator Hall on the northeast side of the map. There are a few buses here next to the extract elevator, and you can breach their trunks as well as the side panels.

For the final method, you can go to the Primary Facility on the Dam Battlegrounds map. There are quite a few containers here, and on their sides are searchable compartments. These can also yield Motors and Rusted Gear if you need those. You can then extract at the Water Treatment Elevator nearby to get back to the main menu.

Remember to bring a normal loadout, and not a free one, because you will have a Safe Pocket and will be able to put the motors there and not lose them in case someone knocks you down.
