Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree adds many new powerful Spirit Ashes that resemble many of the new enemies found throughout the DLC. While these Spirit Ashes will still need players to find and use the Revered Spirit Ashes to make them stronger, many of these new ashes outclass those found in the base game.

One of the more unique Spirit Ashes is Taylew the Golem Smith, found in a dungeon aptly named Taylew's Ruined Forge. While this dungeon is optional, the Spirit Ash of Taylew is well worth the effort; here's how to get it.

Where To Get Taylew The Golem Smith Spirit Ash In Shadow Of The Erdtree

Taylew the Golem Smith's Spirit Ash is found upon completing Taylew's Ruined Forge dungeon, found by heading north of the Ancient Ruins Site of Grace. Most of the dungeon centers around the main room with the large stone pillar in the middle. Upon entering, jump onto the stone pillar and run up its ramp before jumping off to the right of the highest platform.

Look to the left to see a destroyed railing that players can jump over to the platform below. Follow the path forward through the forge until you find a ladder by taking the first left. At the top of the stairs, go through the doorway ahead to find a lever in the back left corner of the room.

After pulling the lever, jump back onto the stone pillar before running up the ramp now going in the opposite direction. Jump off to the left to the highest platform and take the ladder to the left. On the upper platform will be a stone furnace that can be interacted with, with players completing the dungeon and getting the Taylew The Golem Smith Spirit Ash.

Taylew is a legendary Spirit Ash that will need to be upgraded a few times but is well worth the resources. Fully upgraded, Taylew is able to take a beating on par with the Mimic Tear Ashes while offering a consistent heavy-hitter fighting style, no matter the player's build. Much like the Golems throughout the forge, Taylew doesn't take full damage, though not to the same level as the other Golems. Taylew has both melee and ranged options, and is overall one of the best Spirit Ashes all players should consider using on the difficult Remembrance bosses throughout the DLC.
