Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree adds many new sorceries for players to use that vary a good bit from the already long list of powerful spells at the players' disposal. While most of these new spells focus on dealing damage to the enemy, there are some that play more of a supportive or utility function in battle.
One of these more utility-based spells players can get in Shadow Of The Erdtree is
Miriam's Vanishing, which has players disappear and reappear using Glintstone Magic. At first glance, this spell may not seem like much, but for those who know how to use this spell effectively, it can be an incredible addition to your loadout.
How To Become A Dragon In Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree
Shadow Of The Erdtree introduces new items that let players transform into two different dragon forms; here's how to do it.
Where To Get Miriam's Vanishing In Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree
Miriam's Vanishing can be purchased from Count Ymir, High Priest who is found in the Cathedral of Manus Metyr in the eastern section of the map. To get here, players will need to head to the Moorth Ruins and find the large chapel that is partially collapsed into a sinkhole. Jumping down into this hole will lead players through an underground pathway that brings them to the Bonny Village.
From here, players can follow the main road up and around to the Cathedral, with only minimal enemies to find along the way. Ymir is found in the back of the Cathedral sitting on a central chair and is selling Miriam's Vanishing for 10,000 Runes.
Where to Duplicate Remembrances in Shadow of the Erdtree
Torn apart between picking a reward from a boss's remembrance? Duplicate it at a mausoleum coffin or a walking mausoleum to get both rewards.
What Does Miriam's Vanishing Do
- Requires 26 Intelligence to cast.
- Costs 9 FP.
At first, this spell may not seem like much if players are standing still, as they will briefly disappear before reappearing only a second later. The key to this spell is to try and move in a direction when casting this spell to make your character teleport over a small distance. While this teleport does act as a good dodge, it's best when used in a chain of spells.
Players are able to immediately come out of the teleport casting a follow-up spell with the first few frames of the second cast being done while still reappearing and being invincible. This allows for a quick reposition and follow-up by teleporting out of an enemy's attack and already beginning your counter. This can also take advantage of the smaller openings for bosses in Shadow Of The Erdtree, who usually don't wait long after finishing an attack to begin a new combo.
