The
Flask of Wondrous Physick gives players a wide range of buffs to choose from with how many tears there are in the base game of Elden Ring. Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree introduces many more tears for players to find, giving them lots of new options and combinations to tackle the difficult bosses found in the DLC.
These newly added tears found in the DLC require players to first take out the powerful Furnace Golems found throughout the Realm Of Shadow. While some of the Furnace Golems are straightforward to take down, others require a more unique approach, such as the one holding the Cerulean-Sapping Cracked Tear.
All Light Greatswords & How To Get Them in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree
Light Greatswords are a new weapon type added in the Elden Ring DLC. There are only three of these weapons in the entire game.
Where To Get The Cerulean-Sapping Cracked Tear & What It Does
- Grants attack FP-restoring effects in Mixed Physick
The Cerulean-Sapping Cracked Tear is dropped when players defeat the Furnace Golem just east of the Cathedral of Manus Metyr, in the eastern section of the map. To get here, players will need to traverse through the Moorth Ruins to reach Bonny Village and continue east to find the Golem walking along the major road. This is an Armored Furnace Golem, and can't be taken down normally by attacking its leg.
When the benefits of this Tear are in effect on the player, attacks grant FP. The player's FP can only be restored to the maximum, and it doesn't matter how many times an enemy is hit. A single enemy with enough health can be hit as many times as possible during the effect of this tear to get FP back each time.
Elden Ring Shadow Of The Erdtree: 10 New Weapons You Should Upgrade
Shadow of the Erdtree has brought many new weapons to Elden Ring, and these are the best ones for the Tarnished to upgrade first.
How To Defeat The Armored Furnace Golem
Armored Furnace Golems can only be damaged by attacking their face with magic or ranged attacks or by throwing hefty fire pots into the top of their heads. While range or magic players have the option to attack its face, the Furnace Golem has an incredible amount of health and would require an incredible amount of hits to finally take it down. The best way to defeat this enemy is to first craft as many Hefty Furnace Pots and Hefty Fire Pots as possible.
When facing the Golem itself, there will be a Spiritspring to its right when approaching it from the north. Use this Spiritspring to reach the upper hilltop and lure the Golem close to the hilltop. From here, throw Hefty Furnace Pots and Hefty Fire Pots into the fire on top of its head to cause massive damage and defeat the golem. A
Hefty Furnace Pot will do much more damage but will still require about five to perfectly hit to take the golem down. Hefty Fire Pots are a good backup, but players will require many more to take the golem down.
The Golem does have a powerful ranged attack that launches dozens of fireballs at the player and will require quick dodging to avoid. While Torrent can be ridden on the hilltop, be wary not to accidentally ride off the edge while trying to dodge the attack. Getting the Flamedrake Talisman +3 can be helpful for those constantly getting hit with some of the fireballs from this attack. It also has a melee attack where it will sweep the hilltop with an arm, but the cooldown between attacks is long and the windup makes this easy to dodge.
