Tellurium is one of the rarest materials in Warframe, and yet, it's required in a lot of crafting recipes for weapons, Warframes, and more. Getting this material can feel a little rough, but once you know where you can reliably farm it, things should feel a bit easier.

When it comes to farming anything in Warframe, players are going to need plenty of patience, and that's especially true when it comes to rare materials like Tellurium. If you're having trouble getting these for your equipment, here are a few places you can try farming in, as well as some tips on how to increase your odds of getting Tellurium drops.

How to Farm Tellurium in Warframe

Warframe Tellurium drop

The in-game tooltip for Tellurium says that it drops in Archwing missions on Uranus. While this is true, this is not the only source of this rare material. Tellurium also drops in Railjack missions, Archwing mission outside of Uranus as well as maps using the Submersible tileset. Additionally, it can be chosen as a Daily Tribute (daily login) reward).

Archwing Farm

If you prefer to use your Archwing to farm for Tellurium, then one of the best places you can farm is Salacia in Neptune. This is a level 27-32 Mobile Defense mission versus the Corpus, so expect plenty of shielded enemies. Even a mid-level Archwing with mid-level weapons and barely any mods installed can perform well here, but of course, there will be a risk of failure if you can't clear enemies quickly enough.

Non-Archwing Farm

Warframe Ophelia star map

If you would rather farm Tellurium on foot, then Ophelia in Uranus is a decent place to go. This is a level 24-29 Survival mission against Drekar Grineer. Bringing weapons with high Corrosive damage is advised.

Any well-built Warframe can take this mission on without a problem, though ones with strong crowd control and area damage are preferred. Grineer Submersible maps have plenty of tight corridors for players to take advantage of.

Farming Tips

  • Play with a group as much as possible. Enemy spawn rates increase according to how many players are in the lobby. The more enemies there are, the higher the chances you have at getting Tellurium.
  • If a Kuva Lich is in Uranus or Neptune, try to get rid of them first. They will steal some of your hard-earned resources at the end of any mission you finish while in their territory.
  • If you have an animal companion, get and use the Resourceful Retriever mod for a chance to double your resource pickups.
  • If you have a robotic companion, the Spare Parts mod can increase your chances of getting resources when killing an enemy.
  • Use Resource Boosters/Blessings.
