Baldur's Gate 3's third act may seem like the smallest in terms of distance traveled, but the depth of the city of Baldur's Gate leaves a lot to be explored and found, even with dozens of hours of gameplay. The third act of the game will see your party reaching the heights of their power, with a lot of powerful weapons making that so.

Base stats of a character can go a long way in determining how much damage someone does, but the weapon they choose to wield is equally important. Belm is a weapon exclusively found in the third act, though it may seem out of the way depending on the story lines players have invested in.

Where to Find Belm in Baldur's Gate 3

Belm can be found as soon as you enter the main city of Baldur's Gate, or anytime after that as long as the events of the final quest haven't started. Ideally, you'll want to bring Jaheria to make getting to the weapon a lot easier, though there are options on how to do so without her, but none are easy. In Baldur's Gate, head to the northwestern side of the city to the Baldur's Gate waypoint.

Right next door will be Elerrathin's Home, which is also the location of Jaheria's Hideout. Having her in the party will have everyone inside be a lot friendlier to you, and after making introductions, head upstairs to find the little boy named Tate. Talking to him with Jaheria will have him give you the Harp-Shaped Pin.

If Jaheria is not with you, you'll need to get creative on how you get the Pin from Tate, ideally, by pickpocketing.

There are a few Harp-Shaped pins in the game that can be used to access Jaheria's hideout, with some being in other acts of the game. The next easiest is in a bag on the roof of the house, as long as you can get up there. With the pin, go into the back office on the first floor and interact with the left side of the desk to find a Pin Slot. Insert the pin into the slot to open the pathway to the Hideout.

Once in the Hideout, ignore the traps if Jaheria is in your party and head down to the small hut in the back of the cave. In the back will be a large bookshelf with loose floorboards just to the right of the bookshelf. Check the floorboard to find the key that then opens the bookshelf, selecting the first dialogue option with Jaheria to go inside without any disagreement. In the secret cave with be a chest, with Belm found within.

Who Should Use Belm in Baldur's Gate 3?

Wyll Holding Helm

Belm is a finesse Scimitar, meaning it will scale best on someone with high dexterity. If your character is a Rogue, Ranger, or dexterity-based Fighter, this weapon is a great one-handed option. Astarion or Jaheria can also be great options to use this weapon if your personal build isn't best for it. Belm deals decent damage for a one-handed weapon, as its main selling point is its bonus action attack that deals decent damage, "Perfectly Balanced Strike".
